Valerie Feuer is the Associate Dean for Administration at Mannes College. Her former husband, a member of the Mannes College theory faculty, cheated on her with Shiri Kahane, who at the time was a student in the Mannes Extension division. This is a breach of ethics that should have warranted disciplinary action, if not his dismissal.
Instead, Ms. Feuer committed an apparent ethics violation of her own: he was maintained and given additional compensated administrative duties. As a result he is now the highest paid member of the Music Theory faculty, no doubt enabling him to make alimony payments for Ms. Feuer.

Valerie Feuer, an Assistant Dean at Mannes College is a person of questionable moral and ethical substance. She makes frequent fraudulent attacks against members of the faculty. She tampers with faculty personnel files, and lies whenever convenient to hide her own incompetence. At the same time, she shields her ex-husband, a faculty member who had a * ****** ************ **** * *******, while still married to her.
She should not be employed by any institution of higher learning. If you think she should be terminated, contact David Van Zandt, President of the New School.
