Ordered granite sink counter from Value Floors on referral from our contractor. Owner said they would have it in 3 days - it took over 2 weeks. Friday before the Tuesday installation, Jay (one of the employees of Value Floors) called me and asked if I wanted 8 inch faucet drilled or 4 inch. I called him back later (around 6PM) and told him I wanted 4 inch. He said OK. Tuesday, sink delivered and installed (I was a work) so I left a check with the remaining balance due (my mistake). I get home to find 8 inch drilled. I call Value Floors and explain the situation. The young kid who answered said "I don't understand what you're talking about, what's a 8 inch drill vs. a 4 inch drill on a sink top?" After trying to explain it, he said, "maybe my dad knows what you're talking about", and I say, "ok then, can I talk to him?" and he said, "he's out on a job". I said to have him call me, and that I was NOT happy.

Got an abrubt call back that evening, said he didn't know what we was talking about, that I had probably ordered an 8 inch and that he would talk to the boss and let us know. He or the shop owner never called back. I asked my contractor to call them and he said that they werent' going to do anything for me and that maybe my husband should call them directly. My husband called and explained to them that I specifically wanted a 4 inch faucet and they said too bad just buy a different one. Our contractor had a 8 inch faucet that he said he would sell to us and I told him that Value Floors should pay since they messed it up. My husband called and the owner told him that he wouldn't do anything for us, too bad. I asked our contractor (that referred this idiot to us) to contact him for the money for the faucet and he was told that they wouldn't give him anything.

Today I received email from my contractor stating that Value Floors definitely were not going to pay him for the faucet and that $100 would be a fair price. I called Value Floors and spoke to Rich the owner. I explained my situation stating that the mistake was done, and in order to fix it, I needed a new faucet and that his company should bear the cost of this new faucet and that he should pay my contractor (who he receives alot of business from) directly. He literally screamed at me, calling me ridiculous and "in the 35 years I've been in business I've never had to deal with this", I asked him to stop yelling at me and that this was his company's mistake and that he owed the money for the faucet. In his words back to me, "I'm not giving you or (your contractor) a dime........... and I only made $xxx on this deal" and that I should be grateful. The rantings of a lunatic.

Please do not have anything to do with this business. The owner called me silly & ridiculous and was extremely rude and unreasonable.

To top it off, the sink is not balanced so there's always a little puddle near the drain.

Here's the truth in a nutshell.Customer wanted something for nothing,we did not INSTALL this top or vanity.Customer brought in sizes,top was made to her measurements.We did NOT sell her the cabinet,if she has a problem with install,she should talk to the person who installed it.We did NOT sell her a faucet,it is not our fault that she doesn't like it.Again,Gary the contractor measured this NOT us.We just delivered the top.Any Questions call me- Rich 847-245-7991
