Van Ru Credit Corporation RIPOFF DISHONEST FALSE REASONS DESCEPTIVE RUDE LARGO FLORIDA

I had a credit card in college. I had financial problems and the issuing bank wouldnt call back or talk to me. They only told me that they would write it off and it would hurt my credit. I couldnt do much, single parent with 3 kids at home. back in 1990's.

About 2 months ago i started getting terribly rude nasty calls from Van Ru Credit. I have been rebuilding my credit for over 8 years. I have even gotten a chance to get a new credit card that I have no problems with. I am now on social security disability that gives my 577$ a month. the bank wouldnt work with me so apparently sold the written off acct to Van Ru.

First they started saying that I owe over $2000 and to have them stop calling to send them $1000 to stop the interest. They told me that I have been hiding out, I have been in the same town, a very small rural town, for over 6 years. Not hardly!!!!!!!

This whole thing was for nothing over $1000 tops. These guys are sleezy, lying and nasty people. they must teach their employees to be hateful. I have never been a deceitful person but these people really take the cake. All i get is threats and all the "this will follow you forever" speech. dont trust these people!!!!!!!

I intend to keep my new credit and have the debt sent back to the original debtor. I will work with them for the original amt since I wasnt worked with then.

To those of you who may have the same problem, if a collection agency becomes a problem you can write to the credit collection place send them a letter that says you no longer want to do business with them and to return it to the original creditor. then if they continue to call you the collection agency is liable to pay off the debt for you for harrassing you.
