My husband and i took our large SUV to him for a complete auto detail. Over the phone he quoted a price we agreed on and said we can drop it by right away. When we arrived to drop it by he said he works from home, his garage was opened and his tools were neatly organized not sending off any red flags. He looked at the SUV and pointed out rock chips and said for an extra $25 i can get fill in the rock chips and make it look like they were never there, so we agreed to pay more.......He said he would have the vehicle ready by noon the next day and he requested a deposit of 1/2 up front. Unfortunatley we only had large bills so we gave him well over half up front.

The next day arrived and just before noon i called Russ to see if the vechicle would be ready for pick up. He asked for more time insisting the weather was so cold that it was slowing the process down not allowing things to properly dry. We arrived to pick up the SUV nine hours later! It was in his drive way next to the pressure washer! My husbands fire fighter union sticker was laying on the ground, the back seats were all disassembled and sitting in his garage, the car had just been sprayed from the outside and the inside was vacumed, the dog nose art was still all over the windows, carpet was still stained and wet (maybe wet to make it appear he tried to clean it?) We told him we were taking the vechicle home because we both worked the next day and needed our vehicles. He insisted we left the back seats in his garage so he could continue washing them and allow them to dry in his garage. He also said he has a helper that would be available the next day if we could drop the SUV back off he would get it finished. He then asked if he could have more money to pay his helper up front to get this all done sooner. My husband sadly handed over more money.

On the way home i really felt taken advantge of and this whole event bothered me, i felt taken advantage of. When i got home i decided to look Russ up to see if he was a reputable man. NOPE, I found his police mug shot and an add where someone else claimed he completely took advantage of them. I was sick to my stomach and didnt sleep that night.

The next day i decided i was done, i didnt want anything more to do with him, i wanted my seats, money and floor mats back! We called, and texted Russ with no response. We drove by his house and knocked on his door and no answer. He promised he would be home "All day" and would "finish" the vehicle. 

Finally the day after he sent me a sob story of how he fell and was hospatilized, i work in the ER and we never hospatalized a fall unless you broke you hip, or had serious tramatic injury so um yea nice try LIAR! I remained calm and played into his story pretending to be sympathetic and asked when i could pick up my seats. He told me to come by in the evening. Seeing his record i was too scared to arrive alone so i took my brother along. I arrived to Russ's house where he promptly put the seats back in and said he could tell i was unhappy and would return my money...but he didnt have it!  I would have to come back on friday. He also got into a verbal argument when my brother asked him if he used soap to clean the carpets.  He got out of the vechicle screaming and cussing then shoulder checked my brother screaming for him to leave, really seemed like he was trying to provoke a fight.

The next day he called and left a message saying he will not refund any of my money because i tried to "intimidate" him. Really???  I tried to intimidate a 300lb overweight old guy How about you are an unprofessional dirt bag who takes advantage of peoples hard earned money. 

This man has no conscience, he is nothing more than a crook and a low life, please stay away from him
