I received a letter from Vanderbilt on 11/26/06 stating they wanted evidence of my homeowners insurance. I have had the same insurance and coverage for 15 years.
I contacted my agent and they faxed the information on 11/27 at 9:25 a.m. My agent called me to verify that it had been sent.
I then received a copy of an insurance policy from Homefirst Agency stating that I had converage with them effective 11/20/06. I contacted them and talked to Linda - she said she had never recieved anything.
I then called my insurance agent again and she refaxed the information to Linda on 12/15/06.
On 12/16 I received another letter from Vanderbilt stating they had not received my insurance information.

Hi Joyce,
Whatever you do, keep good records and STUDY THE PAPERWORK that you do have! Vanderbilt is a vicious deceitful network of mortgage and insurance groups!!!
CHECK OUT THE CATAGORY "MORTGAGE COMPANIES" ...GO TO #162!!!!!!!!!!
What they do is talk you into your own home owners (if you are covered within your monthly payment) then use the monies from your monthly payment to take out a LIFE insurance policy on your homeowner!!! Then another trick is to use stall tactics to get things underway for the transition. If you were with Oakwood Acceptance Corp, which went bankrupt, YOU NEED TO CHECK ALL OF YOUR PAPERWORK......CHECK IT ALL! See what is in the paperwork.....every bit of it. Take a DAILY log...from Pheonix, AZ, to Des Moines, IA, to Boone, KY, etc. of all call attempts they make to you....referring to HARASSING PHONE CALLS. If you chat with them, be very careful of what you say...(keep in mind about recording).
Contact Mr. Breen, lawyer located in Myrtle Beach...go to anywho.com get his phone # since ripoff does not accept email addresses, phone #'s etc. policy of privacy.....talk to them about your situation. If you have looked through the other complaints, you will see how Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance works!!!! They are out to get victims upon victims....they are not interested in honest ethics...they want the "ALMIGHTY DOLLAR". Include CLAYTON HOMES.NET....CLAYTON HOMES DEALERS....Clayton uses Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance...and VMF NETWORK FOR THEIR FINANCING PROCESS.
Do all this asp......the cases are in the court system RIGHT NOW. Ask Mr. Breen's office about the Magistrate complaint process. HOPE THIS HELPS.
May God Be With You and Yours,

this is becoming all too common. I would suggest, instead of faxing, send it certified-signed receipt required. That should put the burden of proof on them as to what was actually done with the documents that were requested of you.
