Vanderbilt Mortgage Company Has not reported our payments to the credit bureau Ripoff Maryville Tennessee

We have had similar struggles as everyone else it seems with Vanderbilt and our homeowners insurance. The first year of our motgage Vanderbilt failed to collect any insurance money. We recieved a very nasty cancelation letter and we owed several hundred dollars for a clerical error on their part. We decided to switch to our auto insurance carrier for a better rate and customer service, Vanderbilt threatened us that if we did that, they would drop our mortgage. We found out that was not true and switched. Since then they claimed to not recieve any verification every year and took money out of our account illegally one time.

Our biggest issue though, is the fact that they are not reporting our house payments to the credit agencies! We had a bankruptcy finalize 2 years ago but the house was not included. We recently went to finance a truck and were told that our house payments do not show up on our credit report therefore, we are not getting points built back up. We asked Vanderbilt what our options were and they said to ask our lawyers. They claim all the paperwork is in order and there is nothing else they can do. Considering Vanderbilts record of deceit on our account and the fact that our lawyer is a bankruptcy lawyer, I am more apt to believe the lawyer. Vanderbilt will not offer us any suggestions and refuse to discuss the matter with us. I have reported them to the BBB and 3 credit reporting agencies, but no one wants to help us. We can not afford a refinance with ayone else so we are stuck until we buy a new house next summer.
