So basically I went to Vasa Fitness on July 28th 2017 I went in to sign up for a membership and I've went through the basics I got told how much the pricing would be I went through a tour of the facility and whatnot. I was in explained about a personal training program that was told that would benefit me. I was explained of what I would be doing how it everything would be working out dieting all those things you know? I was then told to different options there was a $40 option and it $80 option I told the salesman that the $80 option sounds better as in just it would be more worth the price. As he was asking me if I wanted to sign up I told him that I did want to sign up but in the

future I did not want to sign up at the moment as and I cannot afford it and I would not have time for it. He also gave me a belt that was supposed to help me during the personal training that would check my heart rate and such since I did not want to do the personal training I asked the salesman if he wanted the belt back since I do not want to do the personal training as in the belt was used for the personal training. He told me know because he said it was my to keep and I was assuming that they give this to everybody as and I did not have much knowledge about this gym so even after saying that I do not want to do the personal training he told me just to keep the belt. So

everything went on paid for the monthly membership and just went on about my day. The next day I noticed that I was charged $69.99 and I was not sure what this was for a then call the corporate office and have them explain to me what that was for that was then told her that was an annual membership fee that I would be paying for equipment I do not think much of it at the time. I then later found out that the annual fee is charged 60 days after signing up and after finding out about this I got charged another $80 about a week ago from today for reason I still did not know at the moment. I've been called the corporate office and explain about the $69.99 charge and then the

$80 charge they told me that they will give me a call back within a few days which never happened I ended up calling them Monday of this week and I explained to them everything again about what what happened and they told me that I signed up for a personal training that would be a six-month contract from now till March. I explain to them that I did never wanted to sign up for this and I told them of how I talk to the salesman and I told him that I do not want to sign up for it at the moment and that I wanted to sign up for it maybe in the near future. They then proceeded to tell me that the sale was Final for the belt that they gave me even though I told them that I told the

salesman I would gladly return it back since I did not want to sign up for it and he told me that it was mine to keep and I just kept it. I explained that I have not used it once. And I kept explaining to them of what happened and they told me that they could do nothing about it since the sale is final and I was in a 6 month contract which the only way to leave was to either move 25 miles away from the nearest Vasa fitness center or to sell my contract online either way I would have to pay $100 cancellation for you for everything. I do not recall ever signing a contract or was never explained that the personal training had a six-month contract I have called and called and called saying that I

cannot afford to pay for this and I will not pay for it but they refused to give me a refund and they will continue to charge me they have for my account on hold as of now till October 6th or 7th I do not recall what day was but I seriously need help I'm not a lawyer but I'm not really sure if this is entirely legal I've read online about other reports such as mine where people would try to either cancel their contract a few months in because of personal issues and they have been told the same thing as in they are bound to a 6-month contract people then say that they never signed a six-month contract they would then be sent an email of the contract but only initials would be on the

contract but they do never remember seeing that contract in person. So I do need help I cannot afford this I am only 19 I do not make entirely much I will most likely need to get a second job just to pay this off plus other personal bills that I need to pay off. As I said I am not a lawyer but from reading what everybody said and potentially this happening to me also I'm pretty sure signing in contract for somebody under their name is illegal if anybody can help me with this I would appreciate it thank you very much.
