I tried selling my account to Vbarrack.com.  It took some time to gather the information in the form they wanted, but eventually I had everything they asked for: Recent utility bill/bank statement or the like to prove residency and Photo ID... I'm well aware these items can be used to impersonate someone to steal their account. I'm dealing with a professional business though, right? No.

We get past the information submission and then they ask me to agree to their terms... These terms include being available to assist with any problems the account may have for the next 12 months. That's fine, however I had terms of my own, which I stated:

That I (name here) would both not be expected to refund the amount paid to me for the account or be held responsible if the future buyer/user(s) invoked irreversible action against the account i.e. Get it Banned for Botting or Hacking.  - Simple enough terms, am I wrong? Apparently Vbarrack.com didn't like my terms because soon after I stated my terms the representative(Ken) suddenly, and rudely, came back with "If you don't agree to our terms you can go to other site to sell. Bye" then closed the chat. I must have missed something - I didnt refuse their terms... I asked them, basically, to agree not screw me in case the person that buys the account does something stupid with it.

I immediately tried again with a different representative (Brian). This one told me they cant buy my account anymore for 'security reasons'. I asked what the reason was, Brian said he couldnt tell me due to Security and Privacy reasons... (Say what?). I asked for a number to get in touch with their 'security team' as Brian put it, and Brian said I couldnt. According to Brian there was no way to contact them, nor to resolve the problem.

Fair enough, I tried again 7 hours later with 'Jess'. A few seconds after 'Jess' said 'One moment please.' Which means they're going to review the account to determine the amount of money they'll pay for it. Instead, after about 20 seconds (Yes, I timed it), 'Jess' came back with the response: "I'm sorry but we cannot buy your account right now due to overstock." ... Their website currently says they're buying accounts for that specific game while a few hours prior they offered to buy it... but now they're overstocked.

I dont know what to make of the whole situation. Once they got my personal info they got real sketchy real fast. On top of that they were clearly unwilling to put 'on paper', you could say (At least so I could copy the chat window as evidence if needed), to agree not to do anything underhanded. Now it's one excuse after another as to why they wont buy my account, which is fine I'll go elsewhere - their loss. But they are not as honest nor professional as they claim.

Thanks for your report.

Sometimes, we are not able to purchase your account if we have the decent supply of the WoW accounts. You should noticed that we have over 1200 accounts on sale. As per the conversation record, we did not collect any of your WoW account information from your hand and did not change the wow account information before we confirmed to purchase it.
