I have a negitive mark on my credit report because of an account that verison sent to collections.  The problem is... i have never had verison for a cell phone, house phone, tv, or internet carrier.

When talking to verison, they told me my account was sent to "afeni" collection agency.  When I called them, they said they closed out my account in 2008.  After telling verison this, they cant find my account, cant tell me where it is, and will not remove it off my credit report.

So... I have been declined a home loan because of a bogus account i never signed up for that has been sent to a collection agency that dosn't have it. 

Whatever!
