I am initiating a lawsuit presently against AFNI and Verizon Online California.
I have a fistful of correspondence between them, me and the PUC. If anyone is filing a lawsuit or if there is a class action suit out there in the works, please contact me.

Today I found out I have a debt of $475 to AFNI because of an outstanding Cingulair wireless bill. When I call AT&T/Cingulair they told me my account had been paid in full and they had never turned over any account under my social to a collections agency.

I am presently interviewing attorneys for a lawsuit with Verizon and AFNI in California. I will keep my vent on this blog short because complaining really is futile and gets us nowhere. If it makes you feel better. More power to you.
Fact is, I had an account with Verizon Online California for a month....my husband nor I could install it in either computer despite all the tech phone calls. I told them I never had service and cancelled and went with Adelphia Cable. Verizon tried to charge me a cancellation fee. They never sent paper or e bills, their charges were not what I signed up for and they debited them from my account for 5 months then continued to roll on charges to my account for 6 more months after I moved out of state....
I filed complaints with BBB, FTC and Consumer Affairs.....they did nothing. I had some movement from Verizon by contacting the Public Utilities Commission. Verizon responded quickly to that and pulled off many charges and pulled back "some" charges from AFNI. I didn't hear from Verizon or AFNI for a year...then last May AFNI puts a derrogatory on my credit report. Even though the file is still not closed, a year later PUC is not responding to my phone calls and letters. I haven't written to the District Attorney's office because I doubt that would get me anywhere either.
At this point, I am interviewing attorneys. Anyone care to join in a class action suit? I'm finding out my options and I AM going to take action. This company is crooked taking advantage of the working person. Fortunately I have the time and money to pursue this. IT's the principle at this point.
