BEWARE OF SUPER PAGE TELEMARKETERS!!!
Idearc Media Corporation

I am the CEO of a large real estate internet company. I was offered a free trial for internet advertising... they called many times... I finally gave them $500 for a One Month" trial!... and was told that I could cancel anytime... and be refunded the unused deposit.... What a bunch of Crap!

I also said do not activate until I authorize this trial!!! It turned out to be a "Pay per Click" scam... they used up my entire deposit in one day.... and continued to bill us ...stating that we had a "One Year Contract"....

I have been trying to cancel for over one year!!!
They have no intention of doing anything honest!

Every effort to cancel was rejected... Every promise was a lie. They were rude... and arrogant... thier customer service manger (PROBABLY JUST ANOTHER TELEMARKETER) was total jerk... and liar!
We had to cancel our credit card to prevent more theft.

Today they informed me they are sending a collection agent to my office... for back payments of over $1000!!! They also said that this would go against our credit...which is going to hurt our clean record...

I am now going to place a warning on over 700 of our websites so hopefully the "Super Page Slimeballs" won't rip off more people! If they got you
you must fight back... NEVER PAY THESE CROOKS A DIME!!!
Never get involved in "Pay per Click".... Way too much fraud!!!!

Will Scam Employees and Customers

AUTHOR: Creativegeek1 - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, May 27, 2009

I strongly agree with this because I just resigned from Idearc this month and I know first hand what they do to customers. They use negative keywords that don't apply to the customer. I had a customer who was a mobile day spa and the gave them keywords like babysitter porn, bald etc.

I had a plethora of customer who they did this to. I even helped my coworkers understand why their customers weren't getting the traffic and conversions they were told they'd have.

They treat their employees the same way. I went out on disability and they haven't paid me all my money even after coming back to work. They are horrible and it would do the industry good if a more reputable company would buy them because the management is the worst I have seen in my entire working experience.

They should be brought up on charges by their customers because they take their money and lie about what is happening. All customers who had or have there PPC product should ask to see their traffic report of every keyword they have ever used and if they don't start a class action suit against them to make them disclose that information. I'll support this however I can.

What can we do when we have been ripped off by Idearc?

AUTHOR: Catharine - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, May 18, 2009

I have been through the same thing most have with Idearc Media. Is anyone doing anything about it? A lawsuit or something? I am a small business and want to do something about this so that we can get our money back and also make sure this company does not scam anyone else.

Credit Card Scam.

AUTHOR: Tom - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, February 09, 2009

Don't kid your self Idearc Media is one of the biggest scams in the country. They will claim your credit card failed so they can get another card and then bill both cards. That what they tried to do to me. It did not work because of lousy timing I had been a victim of identity theft a few months earlier and instead of giving them the new card I checked with the credit card company and found there was nothing wrong with my card.

These statements are False!

AUTHOR: Gweedoernie - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, October 14, 2008

First off, Idearc Media does not give "Free Trials". Unestablished companies usually offer Free Trials for this type of advertising. Your statements dont make any sense. You said that we offered you a "Free Trial", yet you stated that you "gave" us $500 for a "one month trial". Which one is it? Neither Im sure! Also, we do not have any pay per click programs for that dollar amount with Superpages.com. We don't have anything close to what you are talking about. Its sounds as if you work for a competitor of ours and are trying to give us a bad image. I will make sure to pass this on to our legal department.
