SuperMedia Superpages Verizon advertising is a big fat Ripoff!

I am a small cleaning business but when I am dealing with a company like SuperMedia Superpages Verizon for advertising they want to change me $99.00 for 25 click per month and $150.00 for 50 clicks per month, that's $3.00 and $3.96 per click, what a ripoff and especially if those clicks are just looky loos, doesn't do a darn thing.

They want a year contract with it as well but they don't check for businesses to check if competitors wanting to advertise or already on their site advertising with illegal immigrants. I mean what good it is if I am going to pay SuperMedia Superpages Verizon but my competitors that are on there advertising are harboring illegal immigrants.

The cleaning industry is full of illegal immigrant nation wide. How many of them? Of the entire illegal immigrants living in the United States 22% of them are in the cleaning industry and that's a big problem. With the high asking prices of advertising and extra overhead cost, and more of these companies will hire them to cover cost, especially advertising cost, since advertising is so expensive.

I mean why does SuperMedia Superpages Verizon ask their customers about if they hire illegal immigrants? I mean all they need to do is ask if they are E-Verified with the US Immigrations, questioned solved. But why SuperMedia Superpages Verizon does something about the problem?

I suppose their customers would want nothing to do with them as I can't advertise on SuperMedia Superpages Verizon because of the cleaning companies in my area and other areas advertising on their site. It's super expensive and I can't afford it when especially on a contract dealing with these bad cleaning companies. Hurts me and other companies that are trying to follow the rules with employing US citizens instead of illegal immigrants.

SuperMedia Superpages Verizon should be screening out these companies, asking questioning about E-Verify on there site to protect businesses and preventing companies on their site with illegal immigrants. Especially when they are already ripping you off on their advertising charges.

questioning Verizon if they hire illegal immigrants

AUTHOR: oxfordu - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, May 16, 2011

When their books get published, they will not tell you the day labors handing out the phone books door to door.

If they are hiding their immigration information then I would question if Verizon is a loyal company doing business in the United States

SuperMedia Superpages Verizon is a corrupt company with questionable illegal immigrants

AUTHOR: oxfordu - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, February 09, 2011

SuperMedia Superpages Werizon does not screen the businesses advertising with them, they ask nothing. All they want is that monthly payment from any advertising customer.

It is a scam and a half and it hurts business what SuperMedia Superpages Verizon is doing.

Second how about all those questionable day labors SuperMedia Superpages Verizon hires to pass out all those phone books door to door. Who checks those people?

Anybody? In fact no one from SuperMedia Superpages Verizon does, all they want is cheap labor to get those books to door door, thats all they care about.

This company is doing our country no favor, it is as corrupt as they come.

SuperMedia does sell ads to illegal immigrants

AUTHOR: DallasSEOguru - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, January 17, 2011

SuperMedia's Texas Sales Office reps intentionally saught after illegal immigrants to "buy" advertising, which over 85% did not pay. This was sales fraud as mentioned on www.DallasGoogleGuru.com and www.YellowCrooks.com

This was an intentional effort by the companies local management to inflate commissions and award bonuses to company executives. The company offers any business up to $850.00/month in FREE Advertising, so long as they do not fall under a few specified headings.

Reps and managers circumvent policies for restricted headings by putting handymen under carpenters and putting maids under organizing services.

What is worse is that when someone doesnt pay for advertisements the company then allows them to advertise again simply by changing the companies name, address, and telephone number.

This is another reason why the value of advertising in the yellow pages has decreased over the last few years.

True but it should be reported how they rip you off

AUTHOR: oxfordu - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, January 06, 2011

It they played their part and screened businesses if they have illegal immigrants and they declined them to advertise on their site and Superpages but they want now part of it, they want to make money, they will advertise to anybody even illegal immigrants too. It is unfair and bad business. Verizon SuperPages SuperMedia is about taking peoples money and charging these absurd advertising fees.

Simple solution, don't use Verizon Yellow Pages!

AUTHOR: Steve - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, January 05, 2011

A real simple solution here. Don't use Verizon Yellow Pages! Problem solved!

After all, it is YOUR choice where and how you advertise.

As far as the illegals go, I hate it too, BUT it is not relevant to your problem with Verizon.

Illegal immigration is a separate issue.
