I am in the contry only 4-5 months out of the year.  I have been a verizon csustomer for many years.  I needed a new internet provider rapidly since my IP company had gone out of business with out advising me.  Conract plans are hard for me since I am awqay so much.

I called verizon. a day on the phone and 3 phone calls later ( about 5 hours talking with varaios people) On the last call after much calculation comparing options, I was told I was talking to th expert on prepaid verizon 4 g service and his info was correct. $100 for the jety pack and $15 for a 250 Mb plan good for one month. $60 for a 3 GB plan good for 3 months...about the time I had in the country.  That sold me since I use little internet and figured it was worth the $100 for the box to try it.  I ordered the $60 plan and box.  I figured that if I didi not use all that data(3 gb) in 2.25 months, that next time I would just order the smaller package as needed.

I throw away all my other notes I used to calculate various service providers fees in relation to my situation.  And pay for 1 day delivery....which gets it here by Monday...I ordered on Friday

So it arrives and I connected after some time and phone work.  I had been waiting for service to download about 3 m of files I needed (rare I need this much data) After an hour or two I checked data usage and noticed that it said my period of usuage expired in one month.  I just figured there was a n error or computer glitch.

When I called they told me that the $15 package was only good for  a week and the $60 package for one month....basically thier service was $60 a month no matter how you looked at it.  Many people later I spoke with the original sales person and he admitted that he gave me wrong info, the info that made the sale.  But they are not willing to refund the data package since I used a small percentage of it.......The sales person knew I was looking at many options including dialup since I am here infreguently and have little usage.   Basically he outright lied to me to sell me his product.  All theysay is we can't crecit you or do anthing but refund money for the box....

whatch out for these guys at verizon
