One year ago my phone stopped updating to the cloud.  Since this time I have spoken with over 16 upper-level technicians who after months finally admitted that Verizon Cloud vendor had this as a KNOWN issue.  My phone will not back up any information to the cloud. We have tried for one year and the error message is cloud optimization,  cloud stopped responding. I have all the documentation via, text, screen shots and emails.  I've logged my phone calls as to the date and time that I spoke to the Verizon reps.  Each time I get in touch with someone that sounds knowledgeable they work with my problem and promise to take care of it and then after weeks or months depending on the person, they disappear.  They still work at Verizon, however, they no longer will answer emails, text, nor phone calls.  How do I know they still work at Verizon because each time that I call back a different tech will email them! I am not litigious, I don't have the time for it and I make lots of money so this is not driven by greed.  I'm at my wits end.  I've spent hundreds of hours, documented hours trying to get the information saved from my phone and no one can accomplish this. Not only has it cost me time and total frustration they have CHARGED me for the data that the cloud optimization is costing me!  Before this, all happened I used less than 2 GB a month and my son the same.  Each month that this situation has been in effect the data goes up.  It started at 2 GB of cloud use and is now at 20 GB. Two weeks ago I was in touch with the 16th person at Verizon. Candace Hitz, she like the rest said that I shouldn't worry that she would be my savior!  She added up all the charges and we agreed, at that time they owed me around $1800 for data charges I didn't use.  When she went to credit me she was told it was over her authority limit, she said she would go to her mgr.  It was over their limit as well.  I had been paying my bills by autopay and told her that I had stopped doing that this month.  I have great credit, never late.  She said not to worry that she would freeze my account until we got the credit posted on July 1st. I told her that if Verizon reported me as a late pay I would sue.  She assured me that wouldn't happen.  After this phone call with Candace, she too became invisible and would no long respond to text, email nor phone calls.  Then on July 7th Verizon cut off my phone messaging and receiving calls.  I am a spec home investor and was in the middle of heavy negotiations, I have the emails to prove this. I was held hostage, I called Verizon they emailed Candace and she told them she was still working on MY CASE!!!! At that exact moment I was emailing her begging her to respond to me, she never did! I was forced to pay over $600 to get my phone reinstated!!!! Candace did send me a new phone which I received a week ago, however, neither she nor the Tech Coach, (which is a paid high-level tech support person at Verizon) would call me back to try for the 4th time to get a new phone to work!  The Tech coach is someone Candace said I should pay for and she would credit me.  NOT! So, here I am a year later, today I spent 3 hours trying to get some of my important information off my phone and had no luck. I don't know what to do.  I was told by 3 attorneys that I should start a class action lawsuit.  They believe I had cause.  The caveat to this is Verizon makes you sign a contract stating you can't sue through a class action. I'm ready to take them on! I'm smart, successful and knowledgeable.  Please consider this as one of your top priority cases.  I am not alone on this, there are others being affected by this know cloud breach!
