Ordered a BB Storm Nov. 21st, at a Verizon Wireless Hub inside a local Circuit City at 8:30pm. Paid 213.99 dollars for it.

Received it on Dec. 1st. After picking it up, charging it for 24 hours and attempting to work it, I realized it was faulty hardware and called Verizon Wireless tech support as well as customer service. For three days, the phone acted up, was glitchy and did not "click" correctly. I begged for a replacement. Didn't get it. Nor was I even given the option to get it. Dec. 4th, I returned the phone, ported my number back to my old carrier and cancelled my account. The account had only been activated for 4 days.

It is now, Jan. 29th and I still do not have my 213.99. The phone was shipped to them on the 4th of December and received, restocked the 8th of December at 8:38am to the returns warehouse located in Texas. I have copies of everything and documentation of every call I have made to VZW.

Since Dec. 8, I have called Verizon Wireless every week, 2 to 3 times. You do the math. Every representative tells me something different. Each tell me they'll "handle it" and "have it looked into immediately" but yet, nothing changes. Almost two bloody months. And I still do not have my 213.99 dollars.

Last week on Tuesday, I was told there was a TOPs request put in for the Treasury department to look at my account. The follow up on my account was due the 26th of January. I did not receive a follow up call so I called them back today. TOPs has not even looked into my account. And it's been 8 business days. I was told they'd look into it in 2-4 business days and call me back. Nothing. I have been ripped out of 213.99 dollars. And no one has a d**n clue what is going on when I call. Some poor soul probably already bought the Storm I returned. And I still not have my refund.

I will NEVER work with VZW again. Never. Even if they monopolize the system and become the only cell phone carrier available to all of the human race. I REFUSE to work with them. And for those assuming this is how every case is. While working with VZW on my refund, I ordered a new Behold from Tmobile, my current carrier, and didn't like it. I returned that, and got my 339.00 refunded within 48 hours. It took two calls. And it was a greater amount of money.

Obviously, the service they offer needs tweaking and their priorities need to be rearranged. While they can surely take my money immediately, they sure as hell can't refund it even within a reasonable time frame if it absolutely killed them.

Beware of VZW. Next time, I'm going to think of that saying; If it ain't broke, don't fix it. And stick to what I know. Thankfully enough, there are companies that still take pride in treating their customer the way they should and handling their issues when they call the first time. Not the 92374345345 time.
