 Susan is as nasty as they come. Months before the wedding she will lie to you and tell you she's got it all under control and everything will be perfect (except that every time you speak with her she can't remember the previous conversations details). She dropped off the flowers for my wedding the day before the big event. She haphazardly left them for the innkeeper of my venue to deal with and ran out the door as quickly as possible. More than likely it was because she was embarrassed by the lack of quality and care she put into the flowers. What I paid for and what I received were two very different things. Centerpieces that were flat, drying out green leaves that were supposed to be wreaths for the tables with little flowers dispersed throughout. A baby's breath headband for my daughter that was nothing more than a white ribbon with the worst dried yellow glue marks I've ever seen and only three little pieces of baby's breath to try and cover up all the glue marks. Buttoneires that seemed to be fine, until they fell off the guys jackets ten minutes after the ceremony ended (for some of the guys they didn't even last THAT long!) and bouquets for myself and bridesmaids that had drying up brown petals and leaves throughout. To be clear, my venue was wonderful and utterly professional. They did everything they could to salvage Susans shortcomings. The innkeeper told me in all the weddings she's had they have never seen a florist do such a terribly poor job. I called Susan the morning of the wedding, practically in tears. Her response? If only I had spent more money, she would've cared to do a better job. According to her, the average bride who hires her total cost of just their bouquet was my total budget for everything. So she told me she really lost a lot of money on my wedding so she didn't seem to feel what her actions were out of line.
