Victoria's Bridal Couture charges, unclear, poor service, deceitful, fraud, integrity Fort Lauderdale Florida

I ordered a dress from this site. I do live in Canada, and when the order came there was an additional charge for $48.08. I contacted the company and asked them to demonstrate where I was warned of this charge during the transaction. They demonstrated that it was not within the transaction, that I never agreed to possible additional charges during the transaction, and that they would not do anything to alleviate the charges that I was facing. The additional charges cost nearly 1/4 of the cost of the dress. I've never experienced a company that was so set against rectifying their mistakes to clients.

I need to look further into the matter, but I feel that there must be laws that require the seller to outline charges and potential additional charges to their clents. I had additional charges from another online company last year and they promptly gave me a full refund. Although even I agree that a full refund of $48.08 would be difficult to provide, anything would be bettre than nothing.

Additionally, I was looking at a rebuttal that this company made to anothe Ripoff Report, and the company went so far as to call the complainer childish and foolish. This characture demonstrates the lack-of responsibility the company has, either to keep a posibive image in the face of their clients, and also to resolve issues well. I would like to add that the other reporter recieved a full refund and I recieved assurance that their website will be modified so as to not confuse future customers.
