In April 2002 my daughter bought a brand new Montero Sport from then Autohaus. They have since needed to change their business name to Victory Auto Group.

In Jan 2004 the vehicle stopped. We had it towed to the dealer. They said it would cost $9,000 to repair. It should have been under warranty. They asked for an received copies of receipts for the last two oil changes. The vehichle only had 21,000 miles on it. And a sticker from the last oil change was evident on the door jamb.

As we went through the process of filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and PA Attorney General's Office, they let the vehicle sit on the lot with the hood off exposing it to the elements. In November 04 Victory Auto Group sent a letter to our complaint dated in August 04, stating they would be charging us storage fees as of April 1. We were never notified of the "storage fee" until the bill was up over $3,000. My daughter went to a lawyer and he took the facts and we hadn't heard anything for awhile. All the while, she was still making the $550 per month car payment for a vehicle she couldn't drive. We were waiting for word from the lawyer. In the meantime my daughter lost her job. (she was in sales with a territory from the MD line to above State College)

She went to make an online payment earlier this week and was told the vehicle was reposessed! She has made every payment. Apparently, Victory contacted the loan entity and put a lein on the the vehicle for the $3,000 storage fee. We were never notified that any of this was going on.

Do not ever buy a vehicle from Victory Auto Group. Tell as many people as you know not to buy from there. The whole process was shady. They even took our trade in car (yes, it was old) and abandoned it in the city. I received a summons for an abandoned vehicle and had to spent time and effort to prove it was a trade in.

Again, do not buy anything from Victory Auto Group.
