I highly encourage EVERY owner of the Vidanta resorts (The Bliss, Grand Bliss, Luxxe, etc.) in Mexico to don't pay them another penny for any annual dues, and payment to outstanding principal if you were one of thousands scammed by fraudulent sales practices and bought resorts that don't even exist!

We should all start a class action law suit, which may be difficult because it is in Mexico's jurisdiction.

I just spent $20,000 in 4/2013 sales office San Jose Del Cabo for The Bliss one bedroom to be built in East Cape (near San Jose Del Cabo). On the contract they wrote "Bliss Nuevo Vallarta" and when I complained they said we own at all Vida resorts and  they had to put an existing resort that was built, but would later change the contract.  All LIES.  There is not even a Bliss in Nuevo Vallarta and East Cape Resort has not started construction. Unfortunately we paid the timeshare off within 6 months because we don't like to carry debt.  Big Mistake.

I will NEVER PAY any more annual maintenance dues until East Cape is built or our money is refunded, which will probably never happen.

Unfortunately we paid off the entire balance of our timeshare, but they will NEVER get a penny from us until I am satisfied. They can't even tell me what I own since there is no BLISS in Nuevo Vallarta or Cabo. East Cape resort doesn't exist.

VIDANTA IS A TOTAL SCAM! ALL FRAUDS. DO NOT BUY.  DO NOT ATTEND SALES SEMINARS.  ** OWNERS - STOP PAYING ANNUAL DUES **  LET VIDA GO BANKRUPT!  Without pressure from all of us owners, they will never settle and will continue to scam millions of dollars for fake properties while the owners get rich.

I encourage everyone to stop paying them a penny more. LETS SEE THEM GO BANKRUPT so they can feel what it's like to get screwed!

Any real attorneys or people that want to start a class action lawsuit, feel free to contact me.

On my contract the company says payments may be made to VACATION CLASS, S.A. DE C.V. Account Number XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX, Bank: BANAMEX, S.A. Swift Code BNMXMXMM or mail to VACATION CLASS, S.A. DE C.V. P.O. Box 56369, Houston, TX, USA.  Check must be made out to "VACATION CLASS, S.A. DE C.V."

Grand Bliss Nuevo Vallarta Exists

AUTHOR: Pablo NLV - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, March 31, 2016

The author of the report stated there is no Bliss in Nuevo Vallarta.  In fact, there are 2 Grand Bliss buildings at Vidanta Resorts in Nuevo Vallarta.  Grand Bliss was a short-lived sales concept by Vidanta Resorts, before they decided to sell the brand "Grand Luxxe".   As an owner of the Brand Bliss, you have the right to stay at any Grand Bliss, and I know they have locations in Nuevo Vallarta (I stayed there 4 years ago, and I owned there) and they have at least one building at Playa del Carmen (where I will be staying in December).  As an owner at Grand Bliss, you can stay at: Grand Bliss, Grand Mayan, or Mayan Palace.  The only resorts you do not have access to are Grand Luxxe.  You also have the option of exchanging through your exchange company (such as RCI, Interval International, and SFX).

You aren't hurting anybody except yourself by not paying your maintenance fee.  Your maintenance fee payment is optional, but it is silly not to use the program after you paid all the money to buy it.

Timeshare Scam

AUTHOR: margaretsims90 - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, December 07, 2015

This company is one of the most fraudulent developers in the timeshare industry. The only thing you can do is cancel your timeshare contract. I recommend you to read an article with good information about these fraudulent companies: http://www.timesharescam.com/timeshare-complaints-resorts-black-list/4-pueblo-bonito-timeshare-complaints/

I already have contacted your customer service

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, March 25, 2015

I've spoken to your customer service many times, but it still doesn't fix your fraudulent sales practices.  I know their is a Bliss in Riviera Maya (THE ONLY ONE IN EXISTENCE).

I already have a timeshare in Playa Del Carmen (not with Vidanta).  Furthermore, this does not account for the fact that we bought in Cabo because we wanted Cabo.

Your sales staff lies on numerous issues:

1) You lie by promising that you will rent our units for profit to help pay the price (this was the main reason we bought).  Too bad for us, in the fine print of your contract after your sales people, it says you don't rent for buyers.

2) We were told we were buying in Cabo (East Cape) in Apr 2014.  This project hasn't even broken ground yet.

3) You put Nuevo Vallarta on our contract, which we don't want and there is still no BLISS at Nuevo Vallarta.

4) I don't see how you could possibly even have a binding contract because you can't even tell where I own my timeshare.  Your response continues to be "Since you're an owner, you are part of our entire network of resorts." BS!  I don't need to be downgraded to Mayan Palace.

5) To upgrade to Grand Bliss or better since you didn't build The Bliss anywhere, you will charge me higher annual fees (around $980/year for Grand Mayan).  BS!

I hope all members just stop paying their dues so your company goes under.  VIDA COMPANY IS A BIG FRAUD!

Dear Brad

We have been notified about your comment.

If you have pending concerns with us, we have confidence they can be addressed as soon as we are contacted to continue this dialogue. We are grateful to be given the opportunity to take matters into our hands.

Additionally, bear in mind that each brand has its own exceptional benefits and there is indeed a The Bliss Resort at Riviera Maya (Cancun). We can gladly guide you to use the options your membership provides to visit all our locations, as you actually get the opportunity to access other brands in the meantime that our other projects become a reality. So this seems to be a misunderstanding that can be easily taken care of once we are contacted through the proper channels.

Being that said, reach out to us at grupomayanblog@grupovidanta.com or by telephone at 1-800-292-9446. Kindly provide us your contract details to be able to provide you personalized assistance.

We are devoted to provide the most spectacular vacations on the best beach locations available in Mexico and we hope you can give us the opportunity to reassure you of the great purchase you made.

 We truly appreciate your time.

 Sincerely,

The Customer Support Team.
