I was a customer of VideoBlocks for a couple of years and my membershp has since lapsed. I routinely recieve email offers via email, so I clicked on a link in an email noting a free amazon gift card with my renewal. But when I clicked, I was directed to the site, with no mention of the gift card. I then clicked the link in another email thinking perhaps that one might have a more current offering. Guess what... each time I click the email link... the credit card I had on file was billed.

I was ready to give them $99 bucks but after this silliness, I decided to cancel. I called their support number which took forever and was finally directed to someone who said they'd cancel my account and credit my card. That action is still pending. She really had no sympathy at all and pretty much let me know that if I didn't want to renew, I shouldn't have clicked the link in the email.

I also told the customer rep that I'd be filing action with our state attorney general as I believe what they are doing is illegal. She just said to do whatever I wanted.

Long story short... I wanted to give them money, but after playing fast and loose with my billing, the lost me as a customer forever.

Hello,

We're sorry to hear that you had a less than perfect experience while renewing on our site! We do our best to make that process as easy as possible for our former customers, but it sounds like perhaps we made it too easy in your case! We've added some confirmation boxes now to prevent this issue with future customers.

We'd love to earn you business and trust back!
