Viking Pools/Jason Stoker Pools/Fiberglass Pools of the Desert Warning: Do not hire - Defective Product - Contractor Not Reliable - worst fiberglass pools on the market, Internet

Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...

My husband ordered a Viking fiberglass pool from Stoker pools of Palm Desert in 2009. Jason Stoker was paid to deliver and install the pool. We were disappointed that after he set the pool and the finished concrete deck was completed, the pool floor at the deep end began to bubble up. This caused a small hump that was noticeable when stepped on. Stoker Pools refused to fix the problem and after two years and not addressing the issue it led to the floor area near the hump cracking. The crack put so much pressure on the fiberglass that it caused it to rip and water to drain out of the pool.

We asked Jason Stoker to address the issue and the results were he blamed it on bad plumbing (which he inspected before install) and that it was Viking Pools manufacturing problem. He directed us to call the factory and tell them of the problem. The representative showed up over a month after we told them about the problem. [continued below]....
..... The representative explained that Stoker Pools should have lifted the pool correctly and packed and cleared the sand before the installation. At the end of the inspectors visit we asked if he would be putting his comments about the improper packing of the sand in his report.

He then got visibly upset and said that is not how these reports go and it would not be mentioned. We called additional pool inspectors to look at the problem and they said that the pool hump should have been addressed at installation. They also mentioned that the fiberglass is of low quality and the core insulation in the fiberglass would eventually fail. Jason Stoker and Viking Pools refuse to take responsibility for the 50K plus in damages that this has caused our property. I feel really bad for my husband because when he returned from his combat tour in Iraq he had the pool installed so his family could enjoy it, now its just one big mess. Do not trust Viking or Stoker Pools.
