I want to help anyone that is planning a move to avoid the pain and suffering I have endured  as a result of contracting my move with Viking Van Lines LLC. They bid 1000 dollars at first then called later and blamed the new estimator for the bid being off and added 450 dollars to the bid. It was still better than some other companies bids so I accepted. On moving day they pointed out I had side by side washer and dryers which I had told the estimator twice over the phone that didn't matter they increased the price. They pointed out the size and drawers on my dressers were more than they expected even thought I emailed dimensions to the estimator that didn't matter they increased my price. They "THEY: ripped my mattress cover then charged me 35 dollars to use one of there's! at the end of the day they were more than double the initial quote at 2350 dollars. I couldn't do anything about it cause my lease was up and I had to be out so I paid it. Now when I called I was very specific that I wanted a direct as possible shipment and the estimator assured me they try to do the moves as quickly as possible. I had no reason to doubt this person and it made sense they would want to collect the rest of there money at delivery. Well that was false, once they have 70% of your money they are in no hurry at all to get you your things even if you call daily. my family and I are currently sleeping on the floor, we eat our dinner on paper plates on our laps, have nothing to clean our home with, no TV's to watch, no washer and dryer to clean our clothes, and worst of all most of our kids presents are in the moving companies warehouse and will not be shipped in time for Christmas which will be beyond the 1-10day delivery estimate and way beyond the direct shipment the estimator claimed. We would go to a hotel but after the moving company took an extra 1350 dollars I'm not sure we can afford it. Thanks to Viking Van Lines LLC we are having the worst Christmas ever! It's even gone as far as to damage my marriage as you can imagine the strain this has put on my family. So please save yourself from this company they should not even be in business of moving since they don't know how to estimate and all they are capable of is pick up and storing oh and lying through there teeth to trusting customers!
