The management at Vilages at Lindsay Park seem nice and upfront when you begin your relationship, but it is in the end where they take advantage of you.
I lived here for a few months while waiting for another residence to become available. When I moved out they tried to charge me $200 for paint fees saying that the contract states that is you live there for under 2 years you have to pay the 200 for paint. The contract does NOT say this. It says that IF the paint is in ill repair (outside normal wear and tear) then that fee applies on that time schedule. They are not trying to get this for repairs, just on time frame. When I refused to pay it and argued, they failed to send me any written documentation but sent me to collections. Now I have to fight in court and deal with 4x the amount of money to try to save from being exploited and cheated.
They are also charging for "drip pans" in the amout of 30 dollars as well as more money for cleaning, which was not necessary. I have yet to receive anything from them in the form of billing after I requested it. Stay away!

I met them in civil court. And low and behold a Judge in Mesa, AZ Justice court determined that they were NOT entitled to these fees! Their attorney also confirmed, on the court record with the rep from the complex that they ALWAYS charge these fees to people and they are standard. They tried to argue that the contract says so and were left silent when asked to actually read the addendum to the contract. They lost those fees! Do not back down and contact me if you are being ripped off for these, I WILL help in court!!
