#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company
Complaint Lacks Details, Proof or Evidence
AUTHOR: Mr Gavin - ()
SUBMITTED: Thursday, April 24, 2014
After helping over 15,000 people improve their credit, qualify for houses, cars, personal and business loans, I find it disturbing that someone would accuse me or my former company of being a scam. I also find it very positive that out of 15,000 people, only one person has sent something to the Ripoff report. Given that you can't please everyone, the fact that there is only one complaint means its more likely that I have done a satisfactory job for the majority of people that use my services.
I feel this complaint is unfounded for many reasons:
1. It lacks any detail about the supposed scam.
2. It was posted in 2012, at which time Credit Builders International had closed 2 years earlier due to the decline of the economy.
3. This person never gave me or my company an opportunity to rectify whatever supposedly went wrong before posting this report.
4. Results were not based on just me individually, but a team of staff that helped to make sure every client file we touched made progress.
5. Because credit is so complicated, a lack of progress can be due to a lack of education on the client's part - not understanding the role they need to play in improving their own circumstances (like paying their bills on time). Some people are looking for someone to perform a miracle rather than understanding that improving credit take time and hard work.
In fact, from the verbage of the complaint, I am inclined to believe that this report was written by a competitor, not in fact a client with legitimate concerns.
