Having recieved an offer in my inbox about 250 free business cards, only paying postage I thought it was quite a genuine offer and took them up on it. Usually I am quite wary of scams as I quite 'web-wise' like that but this one was very covert.

I went through tonnes of different steps which at every step they tried to sell me something more, and finally placed my order.

The next day I received my confirmation email and decided to just do some research on vistaprint. I saw that most people have given them negative feedback and they describe the company as 'scammers' more than anything else.

After this I decided I wanted to cancel my order. I called up the number and after being on hold for about 10 minutes someone picked up. The call center is actually based in the West Indies and the staff working their are, well.. I would never even employ them if they paid me.

When you call their 'customer care' line you go through so many different options before finally getting to someone. When this woman answered she asked again for my account number which I had already typed into the keypad. I then told her that after hearing all the feedback on the company I would like to cancel my order. She asked for my details and put me on hold for another 5 minutes.

When she returned she said she cannot find my details, ironic this since I entered them a couple of days ago. She then said she was having system issues to which I replied 'no youre not having system issues you just don't want to tell me the details on my account', and then she put me on hold again without me permitting.

After holding for about 7 more minutes, geuss what, the line goes to the main options again! I was so so furiated by this as I have so many other things to do than be calling a scam company and go round in circles.

I then called back and the same again, took 10 minutes to get through, but this time to a slightly better rep who also said she could not find my order but I kept on being extremely polite, and she 'found' it finally and cancelled my order. I also sent them emails to 4 different email addresses saying if they do not cancel my order and close any membership I have with them I will be contacting the OFT in the UK to which I recieved emails saying they have cancelled my membership....GEUSS WHAT....like the millions of others...I had no idea I was a member of anything on their website!!!

So, the money is back in my papyal after all the headache but I advise you to not even go near the company with a bargepole unless you want to cause yourself unnecessary headache.
