I purchased a V15 camera as a substitute for my regular camera which was left at home. The owners manual claims it will tale 120 pictures. I got 29. When I got home, I found it impossible to extract these photos and discovered that a driver was needed. The owners manual also claimed it came with the camera. It did not. I called Vivitar tech support and they were not helpful and could not tell me where I could download the driver.I had the feeling they had no knowledge of the product and were simply an answering service for a variety of companies. I managed to find the driver cleverly hidden on the website but when I loaded it up,I still could not download the pictures. I left an email with the Vivitar site explaining the problem and 3 days later, in broken english, it was explained that this camera will not work with a Mac. This was not even the question I had asked. The camera will not download on Windows either. The camera is a low end useless piece of junk. but I dont care what it costs. Vivitar simply does not stand behind their products.

Never buy a digital camera that doesn't use removable memory cards. Maybe see if a friend or relatives pc can sync with it so you can retrieve what's on it.
Not too much of a ripoff because much more can't be expected from a $20 digital camera POS.
