So Vonage really, honestly doesn't get it, huh?

Doing business with this company is a crap shoot; 30% of the time it seems like a normal company with an "Indian" representative, the other 70% is a crime to all humanity. Dramatic? I think not.

From the dishonest and gimmicky marketing, to the outright lying, this company deserves to have its doors closed. They have so few people in their "cancelations" department that the hold is nearly always too long to bear.

The reps don't speak english well enough to help.

The scripting is absurd.

They disconnect you when you try to cancel.

They lie about rate plans. Not allude. Not imply. They lie. What you're told on the phone when you sign up is often times not what you get.

Paying extra upon setup to go "month to month" instead of autobill? No problem. They'll still autobill and treat you like you're in a contract. Thanks for charging me an extra 30 bucks for that.

Don't worry, you can always call to cancel (which they require) but prepare to sit on hold forever and most likely be disconnected. By the grace of God, should you actually get someone on the phone to cancel, they'll endlessly push you into other products and often times disconnect when you stand firmly on your intent to cancel.

It's a huge joke. I'm not sure how much more of this pure garbage service and rude, dishonest policy the people are willing to deal with.

Everyone follow Netflix. Why don't they have any of this nonsense going on? Oh yeah, because they almost went out of business and decided to run their business honestly. Now look at them. One of the strongest companies around. Vonage, Sirius, AT&T and many others REALLY need to wake up.
