My only problem, so far with vystar credit union is their ATM machines. They need to replace them with the same type used by wells Fargo. I went to deposit cash so that I could pay a bill online. I put in $60 only to have the machine take my money, not deposit it and shut down as temporarily unavailable.  I immediately called vystar to file a report. But that doesn't help me when my bill is due and by the time they decide to give me my money, I have to pay a late fee on my bill. The only reason I am posting this is because this same thing has happened to three other members of my family. And if that is 4 of us how many more people does this happen to every day?  Do they think they might want to replace their machines? Wells Fargo ATM cash deposit opening is slightly different and I have Never had a problem at their machine. So a suggestion to vystar: change your ATM machines to the same type used by wells Fargo. To those of us who work hard for every bit of money we have, we cannot afford for the bank to just take our money. I'm a bit put out, I'm upset I always pay my bills on time, but because of your inadequate machines I am now going to have to pay extra for something that IS not my fault.

Horrible ATMs Agreed

AUTHOR: mememe - ()

As evidenced by this 2nd complaint, Vystar ATMS do definitely need to be replaced:

There are multiple complaints online on various websites about the condition of these atms.

The cash counters installed on the newer versions rarely read all of your bills, if they are working at all.

It is also very common for the atm's to just shut down or keep your cash/card altogether with no deposit confirmation. This has happened to me multiple times. Luckily I don't wait until the last minute on bills.

They also make it very difficult to work with multiple accounts from other banks, or even within vystar itself. Being limited to 6 transfers a month can be taxing if you have many bills and your money is in multiple places.

If you do happen to lose your deposit to the atm you have to call and file a claim. this takes up to 2 weeks since they must wait for the atm to be emptied and verify your deposit. Leaving you with nothing to pay bills with and late fees racking up that vystar will not cover.

The worst part is that they put a hold of 3 business days on checks deposited to the atms. So if you deposit on a friday you're looking at not seeing your money normally until wednesday. Cash deposit via atm go straight through, but again this is pointless when everytime you pull up you worry about whether or not the atm's program will shut down in the middle of your transaction.

They have the worst atms i've ever seen

some people...

Let's see. I'm not the only person who has experienced problems with their ATM, it has actually been several people with accounts there that have had their money taken and no deposit made. Second, when u have accounts set up with a company for bill pay, you can't just change the bank info when it is supposed to be processing, hence the need to deposit cash. And if u don't pay on the date owed u get charged late fees. Yes, I have 2 accounts that is why I know wells Fargo ATM has never just taken my money and no deposit. I was simply stating that vystar may need to change their machines to the ones used by the other bank. Vystar itself and their customer service I have no complaints. Just maybe to change their machine. That's my opinion and a statement to help them have better customer service.

How exactly does this issue cause you to be forced to pay a late fee?

Why?  While I am not minimizing the amount.  You apparently have 2 accounts at 2 different banks and you were putting money into this bank to make an on-line payment.  So why can't you make the on-line payment from your Wells Fargo account?  If this $60 is putting you in this bad of a situation..perhaps you shouldn't have 2 accounts.  Is it inconvienent to do that...perhaps.  But it does avoid the late fees and sometimes you have to take things into your own hand instead of just sitting on your a** and complaining.

Then of course you come with the claim that it has happend to 3 other members of your family..yet you keep doing it?   Not only that but if this was a wide spread issue one would think that the Internet would be exploding with reports of this..yet only yours..umm..
