01/23/2008 - spoke with Jeff (last name unknown) about the options to settle on the final payment of the truck. Lost my cell phone signal and he called me back directly - left a message saying that he believed a settlement would be feasible and that I should contact Chett in the a.m. to discuss but he thought it would be feasible.

01/24/2008 - left message for Chett Conner at Wachovia Dealer Services at ext. 29365.

01/25/2008 - left another message for Chett Conner.

01/28/2008 - spoke with Chett, stated he was out of the office and had received my messages and would call me back.

02/08/2008 - spoke with Chett Conner of Wachovia Dealer Services who recommended a "settlement" or re-finance option to help me pay off the truck. He was going to provide an option for his supervisors approval and call me back. I asked if he wanted me to submit any payment now and I was told to wait until he contacted me.

02/09/2008 - Called Chett Conner because I had not heard from him and had not received the "5-year payment history" I had requested with Courtney of Wachovia Dealer Services.

02/15/2008 - Wachovia Dealer Services/Renaissance Recovery Services improperly reposessed our 2002 Chevy S10 - Vin #1GCDT13W22K159902. Carl (last name unknown) who arrive in a blue tow-truck with company markings on the door "KJP" in yellow letters; license plate #MD - 54P-299 - US DOT #1353206.

2/15/2008 - contacted Wachovia Dealer Services at 800-289-6029 - ext. 29465 for Chett Conner (spelling unknow). I let him know that the Chevy S10 Truck had been reposessed. He said that he would call me back once he received the paperwork and let me know what I needed to do next.

2/15/2008 - call Chett several times from 9:00 to 6:00 p.m. No information; no paperwork available.

2/16/2008 - called Chett again, stated he did not receive any paperwork for the truck yet.

2/18/2008 - Holiday

2/19/2008 - called Chett, he gave me a number for Wachovia Dealer Services "Reinstatement Office". 888.937.9992. Called the reinstatement office and requested information to pick up my truck and ask why it was reposessed. They were waiting for paperwork to see where the truck was; and what I needed to do to get the truck back. Spoke with George Carachure who faxed a reinstatement letter indicated the total amount due was: $3,964.00 (+ cents).

02/20/2008 - called George at Wachovia and asked about the fees' on the reinstatement letter (i.e., Material Damage Insurance; Insurance Interest & other. He replied that he did not know that he would get back to me but he beleived "Material Damage Insurance" was my insurance premium (Balboa Insurance). Later in the day, George and I spoke about the charges; he reduced the charges in 4 columns and asked me to just "write the new numbers down". I asked him to fax me a new reinstatement letter with the revisions.

02/21/2008 - received new Reinstatement Letter. New amount due $3,407.72. George still does not know what the credit of (-$505.93) is in the "Other" column. He'll have to email someone to see what the credit is for but he thinks its' because I was "pre-paid". So I asked, if I had a "pre-pay", why did Wachovia reposess my truck? I'm not sure was his reply.

02/21/2008 - deposited check from family into bank account which was placed on hold until 2/27/2008.

02/27/2008 - Paid Wachovia Dealer Services $3,407.72 via Western Union to reinstate the Chevy S10 that was improperly repossed on 2/15/2008. Western Union reference # 065-819-7934.

02/27/2008 - Went back and forth, with Wachovia and Renaissance trying to make arrangements to pick up my truck; pay all fees - waited on hold; spoke with a list of employees at each location - day off from work.

02/28/2008 - Redeemed the truck from Adesa Washington (see paperwork from Adesa in file). Noted damages I could visibly see on the paperwork. Drove from Sterling, Va to Reistertown, MD to redeem "personal property & vehicle license plate". Arrived at lot; items missing; met with Carl to obtain our personal property.

02/28/2008 - improper reposession - improper tow of the Chevy S10 - Carl of KJP, located at 3 1/2 Main Street, Reistertown, MD, 21071 - telephone number 443.375.1561. We asked Carl how he tow our vehicle. He stated that he towed our Chevy S10 in a "snatch teqnique" or rear wheel lift. The Chevy S10 was in 4 wheel drive. Carl was made aware that the 4x4 was engaged and that he would damage the vehicle if towed from the rear.

02/28/2008 - Paid to redeem Chevy S10 from Adesa Washington (I was provided a "gate-pass" to come back and pick up the vehicle because I had to drive to Reistertown, MD to pick up the license plate 1st. When I arrived back at Adesa to pick up the Chevy S10; I found bumper damaged at the front end; the ignition was cut open and therefore the gear shift is damaged. Found drive and began to exit Adesa Washingtons parking lot. Drove within 5 miles of Adesa Washington and broke down in the Chevy S10 on Belmont Ridge Drive and Evergreen Mill Road, Loudoun County, VA. Reported break down to Loudoun County Sheriffs' office and Deputy R. Bennett #2040) arrived. The car was not drivable, would not re-start.

Called Wachovia Dealer Services and they would not help us - they said that my problem was with Renaissance Recovery who is responsible for the damage to our truck.

Chevy S10 was towed on 2/28/2008 to a shop by us through Triple AAA.
