First I bought a new tire. Within a week it was flat. They claimed it was because my wheel was dirty. I feel they should have checked this before putting on a new tire. I had to get the car towed in to get the wheel repair. They told me I needed to get axles fixed and it was unsafe to drive my car the way it was. I allowed them to do the repair. Two days after they repaired the axles my car began overheating (which it had never done) I had to get it towed again. The Tow guy told me I was low on antifreeze & engine oil. The shop had told me they checked all my fluids. When I spoke to the shop again they told me I needed a new radiator and it would cost almost $400. I asked why they didn't tell me this before and he said it wasn't something that could have been seen ahead of time. I also asked why they didn't tell me my engine oil was low, he didn't reply but said they had topped it off (this time, without calling me to ask what kind of oil I use) I decided to take it somewhere else and get a second opinion. The person I took it to informed me I did not need a new radiator just a new hose. I don't think
it's a coincidence this broke immediately after getting my car fixed there. The new mechanic also told me that they put in the wrong kind of oil and it was basically cheap "recycled oil". I feel they damaged my car and were extremely negligent. The overheating that occurred immediately after getting my car "fixed" there has damaged my engine.

NOTE: I am not the only one. Look at others who feel they've been ripped off:

I hope others will post their experience with these guys and we can stop them from ripping off others.

You need to get in the habit of checking your oil and coolant levels on a regular basis.

Not sure what REALLY happened here,...

but I do have a question or two.

"The new mechanic also told me that they put in the wrong kind of oil and it was basically cheap "recycled oil". I feel they damaged my car and were extremely negligent. The overheating that occurred immediately after getting my car "fixed" there has damaged my engine."

1. How did the "new mechanic" determine the oil they pu in was the "wrong kind" and "basically cheap recycled oil?"  Did he have it analyzed, as there's really no way to tell this just looking at it.  Somebody's lying here.

2. How did what was done to your car cause a bad hose to blow a couple of days later and "damage" your engine?  What damage did your "new mechanic" say was the damage to your engine?  What's different about the way it runs now? Were you foolish enough to drive your car while overheated?

I'm not believing everything you've said here, especially about the "wrong kind of cheap recycled oil" your "mechanic" found.
