Wal-Mart Gift Card No Company name given on a mail out offering a $100.00 Gift Card for use at Wal-Mart or Target stors Credit Card Scam done by mail and on the phone Nationwide

This Scam starts with a card in the mail saying that you have been selected to receive a $100.00 Gift Card that can be used at Wal-Mart or Target Stores. You have to call this number 1-855-371-2241 and use your Claim number that was sent to you to get your $100.00 Gift Card. When you make the call, you are told that there will be a $4.50 processing fee that can be put on a Credit Card. I gave them a Credit Card number only to find out that I would then be trapped into many other unwanted offers.

I told them to CANCEL everything and that I was not interested anymore. They said that my Credit Card was already charged and I could not cancel. I then hung up the phone and Cancelled my Credit Card which had no charges from them yet. At that point I received 4 phone calls from them which had no caller ID except all zeros. I then received more harassing calls for days with them saying that they would be charging my Credit Card $39.00 each month. This would not be possible because that Credit Card was already cancelled. This is a warning to others that may receive such BS in the mail.
