Purchased a Wal Mart green dot Pre Paid card. Came Home to activate it and as I was activating I was transferred to a "representative" who indicated I could not verify my information when I asked what information she said she couldnt say and that a refund check would be issued in 9-12 days.
I asked for a supervisor she put me on hold where I waited for 35 minutes and a recording came on each minute for 35 minutes saying "...your estimated wait time is 20 minutes..."
Went to the Wal Mart I purcahsed the card at was told no refund would be given as the card was "...there thing..."
Incredibly frustating experience and am done with Wal Mart......

To register a reloadable prepaid Walmart MoneyCard debit card federal law requires us to obtain, verify and record information that identifies customers. This includes your name, address, date of birth, Social Security number and other information. If we are unable to verify your information or the information matches information with a previous negative history we would not be able to register a personalized reloadable debit card. If a refund has been processed, we are not able to reverse it and activate the card. Please allow 9-12 business days to receive the refund to the name and address you provided.
