I have three different grievances against the Walgreen pharmacy in DeKalb, IL. First and foremost, one of the managers was VERY rude to me when I tried to deliver newspapers to her store (which is my job). She tried to set me up by having a female employee stand in my path, then accuse me of bumping into her.
Then she verbally abused me in front of other cashiers and customers. This is not the first time she has done this. Two years ago when she worked at the Sycamore IL location, she and I were driving to the store at the same time, and she cut in front of me, forcing me to slam on the brakes to avoid hitting her. Then, after I entered the store, she accosted me and LOUDLY accused me of bad driving, again, in front of customers and other employees.
Second, between the two stored, the corporate office owes my company more than $1500.00. The office INSISTS that bills be sent to them, instead of being paid out by local stores.
Third, in at least the last two years I have not seen a single African-American or Latino employee at either the DeKalb, IL or Sycamore, IL locations. When the Sycamore location first opened, it had an African-American manager, but he was replaced after a few months. No other African-American or Latino employees have worked there since.

against a lousy assistant manager you had an altercation with, then suddenly turned into a complaint about walgreens itself, which turned into a complaint about accounting issues, which turned into a complaint about race?
I think you just need something to complain about.
I've worked for Walgreens for 2 years and we have people of all races, ages, shapes, and sizes working at our stores.
One of our assistants is Latino, we have an asian cosmetician, I worked with a Philipino lady at my last store, two russian girls, I've worked with two different african american managers.
Employees transfer/rotate shift/stores ALL THE TIME.
To imply that Walgreens is racist because you haven't "seen" any Latino or African American employees lately is just plain ignorant. Sorry.

how do you know they havent hired other races as employees. do you do the schedules do you hire the employees.no you dont.
walgreens rotates there asst. managers all the time and if you were an employee you would know that. maybe you have a problem with a certain manager but that doesnt have anything to do with other employees.
newspapers are delivered once a day thats it, hello not all the employees are there at once.
