People google this walmart at 9500 Clifford Road in Fort Worth Texas and you will find they have MANY complaints about Appalling customer service. I have never seen a Walmart with store employees who will say anything, humiliate anyone, just because they feel like it. 

I went into this walmart the other day and after shopping decided I needed to make a quick call and walked over to the customer service desk. I asked the customer service manager if I could use the courtesy phone and she said yes and then walked off. When I was using the phone the lone agent behind the counter started loudly grumbling about my having used the phone. When I was still on the phone (the call was only 3 minutes long) she then loudly said "it IS a business phone you know". WHAT?!. [continued below]....


I told her hte manager had given me permission to use the phone. A white guy walked up right behind me and used the phone and she said NOTHING. She too herself was white. Not saying its racial but we were treated very different.

After I got off the phone I asked to speak to a manager. They called up Saprina Garcia the assistant store manager. She came up and I started to tell her I was unhappy about how rude the agent acted with me and seh was dismissive of my complaint from the start and acted like she didn't care. I then asked for the number to the market team manager which every walmart has one. She told me they didn't have one. I asked for a number to a higher up and she stated I was to call 1-800-walmart which is a very general number and I have never been able to reach anyone on that number as I have called it regarding onine purchases several times.

Ms. Garcia had grown frustrated during our exchange and I asked if I could speak with another manager at which point she stated she didn't like my tone and if I didn't watch my tone of voice she would "throw me out the store", her words exactly. This stopped me in my tracks because my tone was fine and there was no reason for her to take that stance with me.

I then asked for my money back. I didn't want to purchase the items from their store and had not left the store and was still holding my reciept. Walmarts STORE POLICY which is WRITTEN and is therefore until they change it a LEGALLY BINDING DOCUMENT (stores are sued all the time for not following their WRITTEN policies) states that merchandise can be returned if the customer still has the reciept and in the case of food purchases had "NOT LEFT THE STORE". Ms. Saprina Garcia didn't care about this and basically said "no, we won't help you". 

She then stated for me to call the 1-800 number and I mentioned in an offhand way I didn't want to call that d**n number" and I said this LOW not loud and that I wanted a real number at which point she totally began to freak out and started yelling for security to throw me out the store. Security came up and when I was explaining to security I wanted my money back while he was still talking she suddenly started screaming "CALL THE COPS!!!", "CALL THE COPS!!". She was loud and drawing attention at this point.

The security guard walked me to the doors and when we were outside I asked for the market team managers name and he said "Oh yeah.. that would be Matt" and I told him she had said there was no market team manager and the security guard couldn't understand why she would say this. He just looked at me and shook his head.

Saprina Garcia had LIED.

I then went to my car and I was so frustrated at what had just occurred I left my purse in the basket. I was almost home when I realized my purse was in the basket. All of my credit cards, money, ID, Social Security cards were in that purse so I called up to the store and asked customer service if they could send someone out to check the basket. I didn't live far away and it could still be possible for my purse to be there. The customer service agent stated "That's not our problem YOU left YOUR purse in that basket and we won't be sending out anyone to check the basket". WOWOWOWWOW... OMG PEOPLE!!1

I was so shocked by that response I jumped on the expressway and flew back to the store. Fortunately someone had turned in my purse to customer service. I was afraid to even walk back in that store but I had no choice.

When I made it home I called another walmart and asked for the market team manager for their store and hoped he could give me the market team manager for the store I had just left. They gave the information without hesitation. The man I spoke to stated he was a manager and stated they were suppose to give this number if a customer requests it.  Saprina Garcia REFUSED to give it.

I then called back to the Walmart and spoke to "Barbara" who was far more reasonable. She stated she was a manager and she was also in the store and I told her I had requested a different manager and when I did I was immediately ejected from the store. Saprina Garcia refused to allow me the chance to speak with anyone else. I then asked why was I told there was no market team manager when clearly there was and she stated she was not sure why Saprina Garcia refused to give that information. She stated all managers knew there was a market team manager. I asked her for the number and she gave me the number to Matt who she stated was their market team manager.

I then asked her why I didn't have my money returned and she asked had I left the store and I said No. She asked did I have my reciept and I said yes I was holding it with my change. She said it was their policy to return the merchandise then and she apologized for Saprina Garcia.

I am still trying to reach the store manager. He has not been in in days but I was able to speak to the "shift manager" who stated he was over the assistant managers and he apologized too and said my money should have been returned and that Saprina Garcia knew that they had a market team manager and he was baffled why she wouldn't provide this info and kept referring me to the general 1-800- walmart number. He admitted she could have handled the situation so much better.

This woman, Saprina Garcia, can't handle authority and power. She got a kick out of humiliating me in front of others. I use to work at Walmart and an offhand, low remark saying "d**n" should not have caused all of that. Her ejecting me from the store immediately and even pushing security to call the cops. She drew a lot of attention to us and forced other customers to turn around and look and this was all because not the d**n word but because I asked to speak to a different manager. She used that word to do what she wanted to do anyway when I pressed her on the market team managers name and number and she was upset I no longer wanted to speak with her and had requested a different manager. 

She should be ashamed. I'll never shop at their store again. They were RUDE. They have NUMEROUS complaints from other customers under their google reviews stating the same thing too. 


The Market Team managers name is Matt. His phone numbers are 817-416-5258 and 817-599-7547

The manager lied.

Why should the person who posted the original report feel bad when the manager lied about the store not having a market team manager? I have read every post and apparently even the manager's coworkers and own manager supervisor couldn't understand why she would allege to not have a market team supervisor or his number. Every walmart store has a market team manager and they give out their number willingly to whomever asks. The manager clearly has ethics issues. This was wrong.

And to throw the customer out the store for what reason? Doesn't make sense to me. I certainly wouldn't care about this woman's future career possibilities. She doesn't need to be in a position of authority at all.

 As I said before I am and always will be only one person. And yet again you make assumptions. Im not white tyvm. I happen to be red. And if you truly wish to compare racial issues you would lose out on that one. So I am VERY familiar with racism. Cultural, Social, and Everyday. And yet again you made yet another assumption as to how long I have visited this website. Since March of 2013. That was my very first post. I post when I see STUPID reigning supreme. YOU ARE ATTACKING A SINGLE INDIVIDUAL ONLINE. I will stand up for that. You should too. But your so bitter that you dont see the ramifications of your actions.

You are the one that by your own posts admits that the only thing said to you was that you were using a business line. You are the one who chose to escalate a situation. You then post about a SINGLE person. Bad mouthing her name and possibly effecting ANY job she would get in the future. All because youre a bitter little person. How would you like it if some STUPID TWIT took it on themselves to start a issue then run off and tell everyone how much of a victim they were. I would have had no problem had you NOT named a single individual or atleast not given the entire world that uses the internet that persons full name, address where they worked, oh and what time they worked.

You are being unfair to this person, I plan to rebut until that fairness is equalized. Until you admit your role in this, I will continue to call tripe. See your the one who posted, I can visit and post on any website I chose. YOU CANNOT STOP ME!!! You can call me all the names you like. That is your right as well. But I CHOSE to stand up for those that are being abused by slack jawed mouth breathers like you. Had you kept your post to the FACTS, and kept iit that you had a problem with A employee and did not name her, then I wouldnt have posted. But you have attacked someone and they cant defend themselves. So someone else HAS to.

If your going to post negativly about a single individual and name them in the process, then I will be the one on this site that is going to continue to ask what your part in all of it was. Since you catagoricly refuse to admit your part, then I will continue to defend this person. You are not the innocent victim your story has been made to sound, nor was the employee as bad as you have made them.

There are always 3 sides to a story. Your side, thier side and the truth. Yet again I ask you ...Which side do you think you are telling??

And once again, I do not work for Walmart, I have no family that works for walmart, I have no friends that work for walmart. I cant stand walmart or the way they treat thier employees. They rip thier own workers off for promotions and pay. I would never support walmart simply because they way they treat employees is almost as bad as the way you acted towards a walmart employee. You state that youre a previous employee of walmart, and yet you STILL turn around and act that way towards a employee. Shame on you. Shame shame shame. The abused has turned around and become the abuser. You must make your family SO proud of you. Given that you treat other ppl this way, how much longer until someone treats YOU in this fashion. Tell you what, why not be fair about all of this and go and give that employee YOUR name and have her post about you. Lets see how you would feel.

"We Can't Accept Pennies"

I work for contract, which means I have to beg for my check everytime I'm suppose to get it which can take a week or more sometimes. Long story short, I rolled pennies and tried to buy an item as amazingly expensive as sugar and they refused to accept it.

The clerks acted like I was some sort of a criminal and held the line up while they got into a group and consulted about me paying for sugar with pennies. Discrimination was part of the issue, as 90% of the workers at this particular walmart are of a different ethnicity than myself. I think this excuse to refuse my patronage has given them what they want. I will make sure I go where people look like me so that I can be treated like a  human being.

Have the district manager turn back the cameras to decide if Saprina, this hag, aka the Whale, should be off the manager's payroll and scrubbing the toilets instead. 

And to the person who said this is defamation it isn't so. Walmart has cameras in all of its stores filming customers and employees without their permission and these are often posted to Walmart's external website and other websites of the companies affiliates. There is no cause to sue. 

On another note something in this store ALWAYS SMELLS. Must be the employee Bowel Movements.

Judging From The Number of Online Complaints This Store Has Recieved, You are Not Alone Dear in Suffering Some Sort of Customer Abuse

This store has quite a few complaints online. I have shopped at this store before. Yes the staff is rude. Very uncultured. You are not the only one. I no longer shop there. Fort Worth is not known for being a "Bastion of Civility and Culture". Most native residents are uncultured and ignorant. A little job like a retail store manager and they can really act a fool. They simply aren't use to anything. It doesn't suprise me the manager lied. It doesn't suprise me a minority was treated with illwill while shopping at this store either.

A friend of mine who is black use to patronize this store until a similar incident happened to him. He no longer does. 

Don't mind the others who are attacking you on this board. I wish my friend would have posted his complaint. Ripoff Report Holds These people accountable.

Tyg, your first paragraph is nothing but a LIE. You've been on Ripoff Report for years attempting to turn the VICTIM into the PERPETRATOR on so many posts its pathetic. Do you honestly expect us to believe you, Who TROLL these boards endlessly, don't know how to set up mulitple person accounts? 

Tyg that's a lie. I've seen you bashing the victims of Ripoff Report on TOO MANY OTHER POSTS seeming to take personal exception to the fact that they aired their greivances online. If you have a problem with people using Ripoff Report for the REASON IT WAS CREATED why do you TROLL these boards ENDLESSLY?

And last, on each and every post where you have taken to HARRASSING THE VICTIM you pretend to know all the facts even though you were NOT THERE and you have shown you are not capable of being "OBJECTIVE". I have long been familiar with you Tyg, Stacey, Ken (The usual Ripoff Report TROLLS) for quite a long time. I guess this is my time.

I will continue to report on racial discrimination or percieved racial DISPARITIES in how I was treated or other african americans are treated. Why should I or WE hold our tongue just beause YOU don't like it? We won't. 

I see you've conveniently FAILED to address why the white man who used the phone AFTER ME and who was also holding his OWN PHONE was not ACCOSTED in the manner I was. Taking YOUR argument, he TOO should have been treated THE SAME? 

Well, Mr. WHITE MAN TYG who is UPSET a black person STOOD UP FOR THEMSELVES run along now.

Saprina Garcia will not have the opportunity to HIDE in BROAD DAYLIGHT after abusing me or any other customer.  The INTERNET and the WEB (as you stated) have LEVELED THE PLAYING FIELD for the WRONGED. We don't have to be HUMILIATED and ABUSED in SILENCE anymore. We can SPEAK OUT.

 As I stated before, I am and always shall be only one person. I dont have the PC skill set to even setup multiple handles. By we, I point to other posters here. I dont have a problem with you posting per sey. My problem is that you highly minimize your actions, and over inflate the actions of others. You are not taking responsability for YOUR part in all of this. As I said before, IF this employee did act this way WITH NO PROVOCATION FROM YOU, then they are wrong. BUT!!!!!

You have minimized yourself in the story to the point that you are a hapless black female who was viscously attacked verbally by the white employees. To drive someone to the point of asking you to leave, YOU HAD A EQUAL PART IN THIS. Its highly unfair of your to put negative information ON THE WEB about a single individual. I wouldnt even have posted except that you are PERSONALLY attacking someone without atleast admitting that you were running your trap as well.

Even in your own post, the "offences" that drove you to demand to speak to a manager were nothing more then your attitude. YOUR PERCEPTION. The clerk had every right to tell you its a business line. ITS THIER JOB. YOU TOOK OFFENCE BECAUSE OF YOUR ISSUES. In America today we like to think that race issues are really a thing of the past. But the reality is that even if white Americans NEVER raised the race card the ppl who are offended by racial issues tend to be the first to scream and play the "race" card.

I have been in sections of the US where a mixed race couple would be drummed out of town. Then I have been in areas where a mixed race couple would be welcomed with open arms. Point is each person brings thier own "Racial Baggage" to ANY situation. You are screaming RACE when you completly discount that you had a very big part in the situation. As it is, its looks like this large lady is possibly mexican. How exactly can you scream race, against another person of color??

You can continue to think as you wish. Thats the great thing about being an American. But dont think that everyone is going to buy you line of BS. Your own words show that you could have taken the stance of MLK. Or Jesus. Or ghandi. But you didnt. You escallated the situation. Whether or not you chose to admit it is all on you. Im sure after corp mucky mucks view the video footage, that employee will still retain thier job. You know why??

BECAUSE YOU TOOK THE FIRST SWING. Verbally speaking that is. So until you can post a story that has more truth to it. How can you expect anyone to believe you?? Your story reads as "Little Miss Black Chick Attacked By The Big Bad Walmart". You had a equal part in all of it. You CHOSE to continue to slander a single individual ONLINE. And sorry I have never worked for Walmart. I despise thier business practices and the way they treat thier own employees. All I care about is the truth of the matter. People never take into account that your interaction with an employe was just one of many each and every day that employe has to deal with. As anyone who is employed in a customer service field can tell you, many customers are abrasive and abusive in regards to dealing with those who are servicing them. If you think your problem is considerable, take into account how little these employes make and the excessive amount of abuse they take every day. How would you feel if you had a dozen or more customers a day who want to have you fired or sued due to not getting there way, Im not saying all customers complaints are invalid, but MOST are. Oh, to make your opinion valid you cannot invalidate others. Does not work that way.

I posted what happened to me not as an argumentative piece but I see you've taken quite an interest in it. Let me guess Tyg.. You are a previous Walmart associate/manager who was FIRED right? So you have taken up the cause of championing the wrongdoings of their associates online right? lol...

Calm down Tyg.. I am not looking for cheerleaders. You stated "We" are not buying your argument. LOL.. Now if that don't beat all. Let me guess,.. YOU and all of YOUR other online personas are not buying the argument? Who said the argument was for sale? Youre an idiot Tyg. And its showing..lol..

The manager LIED. She is a poor reflection on the store. And your argument about customers having phones has absolutely nothing to do with walmart's courtesy phone policy. The man right behind me who used the phone ALSO had a phone and no one demanded to know why he didn't use his phone. 

I've presented a credible argument. You don't have the intellect to comprehend. Not my problem dude.

The young woman had a right to speak out in regards to how she was treated. That is why Ripoff Report is here. to give a voice to the voiceless. There is nothing wrong with that. I have read her argument and understand completely her point of view. This "Tyg" fellow seems to be someone with an agenda. He probably has a few ripoff reports concerning himself, which is why he now trolls these boards.

The woman caught the manager in a lie. Other walmart managers have confirmed this per the article. I too have used the Walmart courtesy phone many times and never have I been questioned about my having a phone. This just doesn't make sense to question customers who walk up if they have a phone. It's none of Walmart's business. Either its a courtesy phone or not. 

I have read every post and I see nothing wrong with what the original author stated. The manager was clearly out of bounds. 

Judging from the pictures of this manager she probably won't be around long as she appears to be about 300 pounds overweight.

I no longer shop at Walmart for the very reasons you stated. Rude Staff. This manager was clearly caught in a lie and there certainly is never any excuse for that. I assume the store manager will make sure this never happens again after speaking with her. The way you were treated was unconscionable and she is clearly someone who can't control her emotions. 

Thank you for having the courage to speak out. You articulated your point of view very well.

Why is it when someone rebuts, you complainers ALWAYS assume that any one person is posting under seperate aliasis? Is it so hard to believe that NOT EVERYONE believes your story?? Like I said YOU PLAY AN EXCELLENT VICTIM.

Good for you!! You got an apology. Now are you going to be the bigger person and go smooth things over with that employee? Probably not. Given that we aint swallowing your line of BS. I can safely make the assumption that this isnt a ACTUAL complaint but you taking your personal BS out on the first person to raise your ire.

Ok. Fine. You CHOOSE to continue to play the victim. Good Luck with that. Im half tempted to call the WalMart you have so kindly given EVERYONE the information for and have the person you are so evily slamming online so she can give us THE OTHER SIDE OF THE STORY. I have the feeling that you are purposfully omitting information that would show you to be less the victim and more the aggressor.

Also, like I said previously. What you are doing is punishable in civil court. I can understand why you think you should post. But unfortunatly reality is far far different then your tiny world view. The courts take a very dim view on character assassination. You can just keep on posting. As long as you continue your attacks on that individual you only give them more ammo to use against you at a later date. And if you plan on entering in these posts as evidence of your claim. Tyg, I've already recieved an apology from the STORE MANAGER and the MARKET TEAM OFFICE who are puzzled why Saprina Garcia LIED about the store not having a market team manager. SHE LIED. That opens up questions about her judgement and ethics and moral CHARACTER. 

I understand you had some bad experiences with customers while working retail. Boo h*o. We too have bad experiences with INEPT, ABUSIVE and INCOMPETENT STAFF. 

Read the Google Complaints regarding this Walmart and then come back to me. They have MANY issues at that store and Ms. Garcia is only ONE.

Nomatter what you say Tyg, the store has a "Courtesy Phone". They didn't challenge the white guy who was "HOLDING HIS PHONE" and who asked to use theirs so why challenge ME???? The policy should be applied EQUALLY TO ALL.

Tyg, your point of view makes no sense whatsoever. Who cares who was holding a phone or not? A courtesy phone is a courtesy phone. Businesses don't interrogate customers who ask to use their courtesy phone in regards to them having a phone. That's foolishness and not professional. I see why you are so bitter. You have the intellect of a grade school child and you are PETTY. "you had a phone, you had a phone"??? blah, blah.. So did the man who used the phone AFTER ME.

And stop Tyg with all the FAKE IDENTITIES. First you are Stacey, then Ken, Now Tyg.. And you follow folks from post to post. Get a LIFE already.

 Its a better version then your last post. Which I will say was HIGHLY entertaining. The problem still is that you KNEW you had your own phone and asked to use theirs. The employee stating that it was a business line was well within thier power to state. It still falls on you for escalating the situation. You FEMed out and decided you didnt like the fact that the employee said something about you useing the phone. It was YOUR overt racism that prompted you to escalate the situation. You still fail to admit your part in all of this. You are still playing the victim when the reality is you were the aggresor in all of this. You COULD have ignored the comment from the employee knowing you had permission. You COULD have used your own phone instead of tying up a business line.You CHOSE to escalate the issue when you could have been the bigger person.

Nothing in your post directs the reader to the point of your issue. You just state that "XXXX is a bad person" Upon reading your story AGAIN, I still find the same problem as your previous post. You play an excellent victim. You discount your part in ALL of it. You make EVERYONE else out to be monsters without giving context to the situation.

I will agree that IF this Wally World employee acted this way WITH NO PROVOCATION on your part, then she was wrong. But your own momma and grandmomma would both tell you the same thing. In this world you get what you give. That being said, you have to own up to the mistakes you yourself made in this instance. Now Im not saying youre a bad person. I am saying that they were not the monsters you have made them out to be. And I am saying that you were DEFINATLY NOT the nice little girl you have painted yourself to be.

As for them not doing your return. The state statute that you have quoted is for businesses that use the "Bait and Switch" tactic. The state statute you have quoted can only be loosely tied to your situation. Mainly because if that was your impression of the law, then that is what YOU had to go by. However as I posted on your post previously, the SHOPKEEP LAW gives ANY business the RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE to ANYONE!! AT ANY TIME!! As you became a "problem customer" right out of the register, her denying your return was for all parties safety. Her job was to get you out of the store as quickly as possible. This way all parties could calm down.

As for them not getting your purse from the cart, you have to try and understand the position you ended putting this person in. WHY SHOULD SHE DO ANYTHING FOR YOU??? You created a scene, you drove atleast one employee to anger, if not more employees. HOW CAN YOU EXPECT THEM TO DO ANYTHING FOR YOU!!! As I previously pointed out, you get what you give.

Ken please stop being so ignorant and google Walmart Store 9500 CLifford Street, Fort Worth, TX Google Reviews. This walmart has SEVERAL complaints. It's on GOOGLE ken. 

If you can't find it you must be the only one as EVERYONE ELSE has found it as many are leaving their complaints.

Also, you know very well that a store can not put up a stated policy and then go back on that policy while that policy is still being enfored and stated. They can AND ARE frequently sued for this.

Neiman Marcus Shopper sues store for not accepting returns (google it. Ripoff is blocking me from posting the link which is very long)

Kohl's can be sued over sales ads court says (that is still a stated policy when they are advertising a price on a product) not much difference - GOOGLE IT

Recognizing this the legislature has enacted a law, Civil Code 1723,which requires retailers to post their return policy.

Consumers Remedies:

A retail seller who violates Civil code 1723 is liable to the customer for the amount of purchase. The seller may also be liable to the customer under the consumer legal remedies act . That act provides additional remedies such as actual damages and injunctive relief for unfair and deceptive acts in the sale of goods to customers."

Businesses that intentionally post false policies or that otherwise engage in bait and switch practices can be held liable under Federal and State laws.

Please provide a link to other complaints on this Walmart...

 I couldn't find any on a Google search or a Ripoff Report search. Where did you find these "MANY" complaints on them? "Walmarts STORE POLICY which is WRITTEN and is therefore until they change it a LEGALLY BINDING DOCUMENT (stores are sued all the time for not following their WRITTEN policies)"

What are these other stores that have been sued for not following their "WRITTEN" policies, please provide a link to this information, also. My guess is, you have a lot of "little troubles" with businesses you deal with.
