Walmart.connect internet service offers a free 30 day trial period. You use a CD to install the service and give them your credit card number - which is a mistake!!
We used this service for 28 days. Followed the instructions on the provided CD to remove the service. Walmart.connect claims we have never removed the service. We have been billed for 3 months.
My husband and I have both tried to discuss with Walmart. com representatives. The phone wait is lengthy. Then you speak to numerous employees.

My husband has requested speaking to a supervisor which he didn't get to do. We have been told we are disconnected from the service, but they will do nothing about the incurred charges.

Walmart.connect is a vendor for AOL - beware!! Do not sign up for free service, do not give them your credit card information.

This is a consumer warning.
