 I recently ordered 2 DVD's from Walmart.com and although the site warns that shipment to the store could take 7 to 10 business days, I placed my order hoping that it wouldn't take that long; In spite of the fact that I ordered a t.v from them on Feb 1 2011 and it arrived 8 business days later(I attributed most of this delay to bad weather here in Texas, although warehouse and store location in same state) . So I was a lot more hopeful about the dvd's arrival time.
 
I have come to find out that now the site is taking 2-3 days to provide updated tracking of shipments. At the point of 7 business days in whch there hadn't been an update in the last 3 business days, I called the site and spoke with a rep. Upon speaking with the rep. she went on to explain that the 2 dvd's were coming from 2 different locations and one would arrive at the store via UPS. This was news to me. Later on that evening I looked back on the website and it had been updated that the shipment has been delayed. So here it is the 9th business day and no DVD's. 

I am now suspicious that they never likely had one of the dvd's in stock and is now stalling the order. Furthermore, I've never experienced such slow shipping from other websites and certainly UPS delivery doesn't take 9 or business days to get an item to it's destination.

I am finished with Walmart.com and you too as buyers should beware.

Despite the fact that you "think it shouldn't take 10 business days" to receive an item, you should that their website said 7-10 business days for shipment. So, why are you fussing at them at 9 business days?

I have a life. It shouldn't take 2 weeks or more to deliver items to customers, it certainly didn't take two weeks to take the money from my account. and like I said, after I called and spoke to rep, they then updated the info stating that it was delayed. If the site had provided this info upon me checking, i would of knew what to expect.

Never any problems with Walmart Online

I order quite a bit from Walmart online. My grandchildren live quite a distance away from me and I order gifts for them all the time. Walmart gives you the site to store delivery free of charge. I have even had them deliver to an address free of charge. They have always been on time and most of the time early.  

I do know if they do not have an item in stock they will inform you right away.  I have even been offered to order an item before it was released. I did this one on a DVD movie and they released it cheaper than I paid (which I didn't know) and they refunded the difference. I was impressed as they could have let it stand as billed and I would have never know the difference as I willing paid the purchase price.

Any way enough of this long winded speech. 

All I can say is kudos to Walmart Online.

They said it would take 7 to 10 days and after 9 days you're crying?  Get a life!
