First American Home Buyers Protection Corporation no heat after more then a month! Van Nuys California

I called on a Monday in early November about our heat pump and how it's pumping out cold air. The warranty company said I'd receive a call that day. Never did, so I called the number they gave me and the tech said it was his birthday and he had off that day, he'd call me the next day! When he did he made an appt for Friday. He diagnosed the problem and sent the report in. Only, the warranty company said he didn't send them anything and he said he did. This went on for a few days. Then we find out the tech doesn't have an account with the manufacturer so he cannot order the part and the warranty company doesn't order smaller parts (I found this out after the first girl told me they did, a week later they didn't, doesn't make much sense). They had to send out another tech to diagnose the problem again, which took another week. He did, ordered the part, came to put it in a week later and the part was wrong. He reordered it, and the company had the part on backorder and eventually just cancelled the order and nobody told us. So we're waiting to find out when we get the part and nobody is calling us back. All along I've called the warranty company and nobody ever calls me back! I talk to so many different people and nobody knows what is going on! Finally a lady there says she talked to her Supervisor this week and they are sending the part to the Purchasing Dept - which I was told in the beginning they don't purchase - 3 days later I call again to check-in and they forgot to send the form to Purchasing! I left 2 voice mails with their Supervisor but again, nobody calls me back. I'm ready to shoot someone. Oh, I also told them that I'm 5 months pregnant and they said they'd put our claim on "emergency service" - such good that did!

If you want to choose a Home Warranty company, do NOT call them!!!
