So if anyone still has any doubts about we buy ugly houses not being scam artists; here is your proof.
What they did was offer to buy our house for $57,000.00. They then placed adds all over the internet on all the usual house selling websites trying to sell our house for $74,900.00. WOW. Apperantly they don't actually have any money. What they do is offer to buy your house for a low price, then try to sell it themselves at a very high price. Once it sells-they pay you the money that they originally offered, while pocketing the rest for themselves. In our case, we buy ugly houses would have been stealing $17,900.00 from us. Thats alot of money for doing nothing but listing your home for sale online.

A realtor only asks for 6% for listing your home and helping you sell. That's alot less than $17,900.00. Also, they claim to not work with any realty agents- that's a lie- they had Justin Toney from Austin Properties ( www.justintoneyrealtor.com) bring people by to see our house. I'm sure he was also taking a cut of that $17,900.00. 

So there you have it. That is how they do business. It is actually ALOT cheaper and less time consuming to just hire a realtor or sell your house yourself. 

Co's reply. "...in an effort to get a complete picture... we receive MULTIPLE ESTIMATES ON THE SAME WORK..." What that means is they are shopping it around to as many contractors as possible hoping someone will screw up and give them a lowball figure for the patch job. EVERY legitimate company I know has a routine set of contractors they use because they know them and their work. Why shop it around?

After contacting We Buy Ugly Houses' corporate office, I was treated as someone who is less than human. They do not care what goes on as long as they rip people off to get money. They have been no help at all. I strongly recommend that anyone, no matter how badly you need to sell your house, go through these scam artist evil-doers. Not only will they take advantage of you, but they will damage your house (as they have ours), leave attic lights on, rip insulation,go through your refrigerator, dig up your basement,  break your gate, your garage door, and ultimately in the end, not pay you any money at all. Just like they did to us. These people put the atrocities committed by some of histories most notorious bad guys such as Adolf Hitler, Genghis Khan,  Attila the Hun, Maximilien Robespierre, Pol Pot,  Ivan the Terrible to shame. I, nor anyone else in my entire family, has ever been ripped off, lied to, manipulated and abused as badly as this company has done to us.  Our parents misled us as children, Monsters do exist- and apparently they claim to buy ugly houses. For the love of all that is good in this world, do not ever contact them.
