I spoke to Marc Varone, from Wealth Information Network, today on the phone to request a refund from his company. I paid $2150.00 to his company on a debit card in August, 2005, for a website. W.I.N. is a reseller for Stores Online, so I bought my Stores Online package from them.

Back in August of 2005, I spoke to Scott Lundgren, a representative from W.I.N., about paying the money to purchase one website from his company. I clearly asked Mr. Lundgren about a money-back guarantee if the opportunity did not work out, and he clearly told me that there is a 6-month money back guarantee. He definitely lied to me in order to get my business.

Today Marc Varone claimed that Scott Lundgren never made that statement about the money-back guarantee. I told Mr. Varone to listen to the taped recording that took place in August, but he did not commit to listening to it. Instead, Mr. Varone told me that someone from his company had called me shortly after my conversation with Scott Lundgren to tell me that there was only a 7 day money-back guarantee. I know for sure that this conversation about a 7 day money-back guarantee never took place! What's more, Mr. Varone also knows the conversation never took place.

After MR. Varone told me today that he would not refund my money, I naturally became angry with him and raised my voice, especially since Scott Lundgren had promised a refund if I wanted one. Mr. Varone had the nerve to say that he would not continue talking to me if we could not have a civil conversation. I told him he is the one who stole my money, so it was difficult for me to be civil. He was very manipulative! He told me not to call him a crook (ha ha)!

Mr. Varone said the companies he is associated with (PMI and Stores Online)provided adequate training for me to make money. In reality, the training was very poor, and it did not help me make any money at all with my website. I never earned a single penny with this business; all I did was pay out money from my pocket.

Mr. Varone finally offered to pay me back half the money that I spent with his company. He said he will send me a letter to sign, and I need to send it back to him. I told him he can send the letter. However, my main goal is to receive a full refund of my money, and that's what I am requesting.

In summary, I am requesting a full refund of the $2150 that I paid to Wealth Information Network. I am also hoping these crooks can be put out of business. I WILL DO EVERYTHING IN MY POWER TO PUT THIS COMPANY OUT OF BUSINESS! I urge my fellow readers to do the same.

THE FOLLOWING IS A DUPLICATE OF MY LETTER I SUBMITTED ABOUT STORES ONLINE. PLEASE USE THIS LETTER AS SUPPORTING EVIDENCE FOR MY CLAIM AGAINST MARC VARONE'S COMPANY WHEN MR. VARONE STARTS MAKING EXCUSES AND TRIES TO CLAIM I HAD GOOD TRAINING:

I paid $150 to Stores Online for a yearly fee to host my website. This $150 was supposed to be for every month of the year, so it would average $12.50 per month.

Stores Online also works with some other companies called PMI and Wealth Information Network. I started to realize that this so-called opportunity from Stores Online wasn't as good as the company had promoted it to be. There were a number of discrepancies between the way I was taught to build the business at the seminar I went to and the way the Stores Online employees actually taught me.

The bottom line is that I have been involved with Stores Online since late August, and I still haven't earned any money with them. The company assigned a coach to me, and this coach gave me the impression that I would be earning money at this point in the process. To date, I have not earned a single penny with the website from Stores Online. I started to figure out that this type of business is saturated and that very few people will ever succeed with this opportunity.

I also had to start paying about $25 per month for a merchant services company to process my credit card transactions. All these expenses were starting to add up. Also, since I wasn't making money, one of the employees from Stores Online encouraged me to start paying for Pay-Per-Click services to try to get some sales for my website. This would have added to all my other costs after I had already paid more than $2000 for the website in addition to other various charges. The person was just trying to string me along and keep me in the program.

As far as the company's so-called training is concerned, Stores Online is not even willing to pay for a toll-free number for their business, so I paid for a lot of calls out of my pocket to call them to straighten out problems with my website.

Some of these problems were actually caused from the company's employees in their chat room. This chat room is a real joke! Many of their chat room employees are poorly trained, and several times these employees actually messed up my website. The people at PMI could not fix the problem, so I had to call Stores Online (again at my expense) to correct the problems that their own chat room employees created. I complained to Stores Online about their poorly-trained chat room employees, but nothing ever seemed to get done about it.

I was assigned a personal coach from PMI (the company that works with Stores Online). Her name was Carmen Lawson. The first day I spoke with her, I could tell her attitude was terrible, and she didn't care about helping me. I spoke to Marc Varone from Wealth Information Network, and he said "Carmen just comes across that way." He said he would assign me another coach after I told him I would not work with Carmen anymore.

The coach who was assigned to me after Carmen was Ryan Morehouse, and he was much better than Carmen. However, there were 3 or 4 times he told me information that was incorrect, so he was not trained well enough to do his job. The 30 minute, once-a-week, sessions were not nearly enough to help me learn this business. He was always in a hurry to get off the phone.

Also, some of the reps at PMI were not very knowledgeable about their jobs. Some of them were good, but others were not able (or willing) to help me with simple requests. I normally had to call Stores Online (again at my expense) to try to resolve the problem.

The representatives from Stores Online were very deceptive because they didn't tell me about all the extra charges involved in building the business. They also did not tell me up front about how long it would really take before I could "hopefully" start earning some money with my website.

The people with these 3 companies apparently do not communicate very often with each other. Just 3 days ago, I spoke to Greg Hall from Stores Online (he says he is one of the supervisors). He told me that my website is not doing well because I do not have enough keyword phrases in the meta tags. I then called Andy Lauder, from PMI, and Mr. Lauder told me that I DO have enough keyword phrases, and that Greg Hall, from Stores Online, is wrong. This is only one example of how these people's right hand does not know what their left hand is doing and how they don't bother to communicate with each other. Both of these guys are supposed to be trained professionals, so who am I to believe when they disagree?

Speaking of Greg Hall, I spoke to him recently about trying to get a refund. He had such an attitude with me that I became very angry with him. His tone of voice sounded like somebody who was saying I've got your money, and you can't do anything about it. After I became angry, he hung up on me, and he would not accept any of my calls.

I spoke to Greg Hall's supervisor, Patricia Creviston. Ms. Creviston also told me that the company will not offer a refund to me. Instead, she directed me to an extensive amount of marketing material on the Stores Online website. She told me that my website is not successful because I have not utilized this marketing material, and she also told me I haven't worked hard enough on my site. In my opinion, I have worked my tail off to build this site, including an article I wrote that I submitted to article submission companies.

Most of the information that Patricia Creviston directed me to was not really information that would help me market the site, but it was common knowledge type information. I have been trained a certain way by my personal coach at PMI, and now Patricia Creviston is telling me that these things are not enough to help me be successful with my site. When I told her I was trained this way, she told me to take it up with PMI. However, I am requesting my money back from Stores Online, not PMI. Ms. Creviston talked and talked, but she didn't really say anything (if you know what I mean).

In summary, I am requesting my $150 back from Stores Online. I decided not to be involved with this company anymore because I believe they were dishonest with me as far as income expectations with the website are concerned, and I also believe there is a lack of professionalism and training from the company. I do not believe these people tell the truth! Until I got involved with Stores Online, I had never dealt with a company that absolutely refuses to work with me at all on a refund. I truly hope these dishonest people can be put out of business!

Stores Online charged me $150 for the whole year to cover every month of the year, but I wanted to opt out of their program after a little more than a month. They are not justified in keeping the rest of my money. I am requesting a full refund because I did not earn a single penny with the company, so their opportunity was not what they said it was.

Wealth Information Network will refund 100% of my money.

AUTHOR: Tim - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, January 16, 2006

As an update, I sent an email to Marc Varone, of Wealth Information Network, about the actions I have taken regarding his company. He responded and told me he will refund 100% of my money. As soon as I receive the money back, that will satisfy my complaint against his company, and we will be in good standing.
