My seventy nine year old dad who doesn't speak English and sister went into Webb Ford in Highland, Indiana to buy a used vehicle. They bought one and paid it in full and went back the next day for the title. The salesman told them for $10,000 more they could buy a new one. They gave Webb Ford another $10,000 to purchase a 2002 Explorer. They were told to come back in three weeks for the title. When they came back they were told the vehicle was leased and they owed another $15,210.40 to get the title in two years. It was a complete misrepresentation.
Only $15K was applied towards the new vehicle instead of the $26K. The other money is missing. No receipts other than the receipts showing almost $27K to Webb Ford. This 21K Explorer is going to end up costing twice as much around $42k.
