I visited this doctors office for a routine checkup. As I walked through the door, two of his front-office staff were fighting, there was a very foul odor in the office, and the restrooms were very filty. I waited over an hour to see the doctor.
After being taken to the exam room, I waited another 25 mins to see Dr. Anwar. He wasn't sure what to diagnose me with. So, he left the room. After waiting for another 10 mins, I walked to the restroom only to find him on WEBMD searching for treatment. He wrote a very bad prescription that caused adverse reactions.
Two weeks after leaving his office, I received a statement from my insurance company for 4 different dates of service, stress test, etc. Dr. Anwar fraudulently billed my insurance company. I visited his office only once, no stress test or anything else were performed. I contacted his office but received no response after leaving several messages with the Office Manager and Billing Manager Velma. So, I contacted my insurance company and filed fraud, to my suprise they already had several claims against him. I also spoke with the Attorney General, who also has active investigations against him.
I had a very bad experience and would advise everyone to beware.

As previously stated, I have been a patient of Dr. Anwar's (at the Webb Royal Medical Group's office) for 16 years. My Husband and Father were also patients of Dr. Anwar's until their passing. My experience with Dr. Anwar has always led me to believe he is not only a great human; he is a caring and considerate doctor. He has never pushed pills on me and has put me and my health first. He work's non-stop to make sure his patients are healthy and taken well care of. I have personally withnessed how much time and effort Dr. Anwar puts into making sure his patients are treated properly. From my family's personal. as well as my personal, experiences, he works with his patients when hospitalized which makes me feel he is treating me, the person, not just getting a paycheck.
Dr. Anwar has always been very clear and thorough when explaining any new treatments and side effects of any medication he prescribes. He ensures I have proper follow up and prescriptions and always goes the extra mile to ensure I have all the information necessary to make better health decisions from healthier eating habits to avoid unnecessary prescriptions to activities to keep from further damage to my joints.
In my opinion, Dr. Anwar is a personable and great doctor and I would not trust another doctor with my health, not just because of his extensive knowledge but because of the care he has provided to me and my family throughout the 16 years he's cared for me.
In short: Dr. Anwar does every thing within his power to make his patients well; and keep his patients comfortable while working on them. I've learned that medicine is not always an exact science (at least that is what an ER doctor told me once), but Dr. Anwar is by far worth placing your life in his capable hands, and he has my life and I feel completely safe.

Ok, I have seen Dr Anwar in his Dallas office and Frisco Offices. The original posting sounds like a hoax to me!! If you walk in to both of his offices, the staff is professional, the offices are immaculate, clean and there is no foul odor. So, this story sounds very fishy to me. Don't beleive in every posting you see over here. This could become a place where people can abuse the free expression and post bogus stuff to hurt a business.

okay, first of all it was odd to see that this ripoff was posted by a doctor for a doctor. Also, I have seen Dr. Anwar several times, he is a very honest and patient caring doctor. He always have patient's welfare in mind and takes all steps to cure the syptoms and provide adequate medial care. So, I am not willing to buy this ripoff story.
