What transactions?

AUTHOR: Edgeman - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, July 01, 2009

From the OP:

"So Later I Go To The Bank and Deposited CASH Of $100.00 On June 30th 2009 Now My Reciept says Amount Deposited $100.00 Available Bal $110.30, Current Bal $110.30 This was @ 14:48:38 I take it that is Military Time Posting Date 6/30/09 Now They drafted me 3 times of $37.00 for each transaction,"

Response: What were the three transactions? By any chance, did you authorize three transactions and then attempt to transfer funds to cover them?

And yes, 14:48:38 is military time for 2:48 p.m. plus thirty-eight seconds.

But when...

AUTHOR: Ken - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, July 01, 2009

We see when you made the deposits, but when did you make the transactions that caused the overdrafts? If they were before you made the deposits, that's why you got the fees.

You left out a few things...

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, July 01, 2009

Banks don't charge overdraft fees for deposits.

So what were you spending that you felt it important enough to first transfer only $20. But later increase the transfer to $100 when you didn't think the $20 transfer was going to post.
