Webxites contacted me and promised results. Sure this company has won awards for growth, but this is from local agencies that did not investigate how they were growing.

Webxites offers a web design and managed pay-per-click package that they claim will increase traffic. They produced absolutely squat. I called them to express my dissatisfaction with the results. They assured me they could tweak the placements to increase results. I wanted to give them a fair chance, so I gave them the month to prove their results. My agent agreed to contact us at month's end to review the results with me.

When no call was made, I contacted them to cancel. Little did I know that my card was charged a couple of days earlier than it was supposed to. When I got my agent on the phone, he refused to cancel. Instead he kept trying to convince me to use what I had already been charged for. He said they do not provide credits.

I requested to speak with his supervisor who really got nasty. Not only did she refuse to credit me the prorated charges, but she insulted me. She finally said that there was nothing else she could do and informed me she was hanging up on me, which she promptly did.

I called my credit card company, and they agreed that the proper course of action was to dispute the charges. Those charges were disputed, and Webxites did not follow up on the action. Its such a shame that they force you to take such steps to preserve your rights.

Webxites is a corrupt company that encourages standoffish behavior by its agents to bully customers into being victimized. Further research showed that they are getting hammered with fraud suits by the attorneys general of several states. Shame on the FTC for not shutting this company down permanently.

I currently have webxites and one account I cancelled AND HELLO YOU IDIOT YOU HAVE TO CANCELL WITHING 14 DAYS NOT 30. My revenue with using their website optimization tool went throught the roof. They virtually have a paradigm shift in marketing and advertising. The only complaint I have is that I am over saturated in bussiness!

Webxites Reaches a New Low

AUTHOR: Kenneth - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, February 19, 2007

Following the initial submission of our Rip-Off Report, Webxites has since turned over a $999 balance plus another $250 in attorney fees to an attorney.

The contract clearly states that "To cancel, Customer must call 1-800-485-0229 or send an email to cancel@webxites.com. This is a month-to-month agreement; cancellations are immediate and incur no penalty."

We followed these proceedures, but Webxites refused to honor their contract terms.

Webxites is a company that has practiced vile and corrupt business practices. Their services are not provided at a satisfactory level, and their procedures violate common business practices. In addition, the supervisor I spoke with was rude and unprofessional. She ended the call by hanging up on me.

Our office has decided to invest substantial time to protest the action of Webxites by informing a number of regulatory agencies. In addition, it is our commitment to spread the word to other unsuspecting businesses that may be the next to fall victim to Webxites.

If you have already fallen victim to Webxites, we urge you to immediately contact as many regulatory agencies and consumer protection agencies as you can to put a stop to Webxites.
