After reading stories about this company, exactly like my situation, i had to write this. It's pathetic to see they get away with this behavior, but i'm glad i'm not alone.

Seems after getting out of one bad car loan, i got into another burying some negative equity. This time with Wells Fargo Acceptance. The loan on my 2004 Pontiac Grand Am, is only four months old. Due to a hit and run accident i fell victim to, rental car fees, un-related legal fees, and a new home purchase that has drained my funds, i'm now TWO payments behind on a loan i never should've taken. Had i known of their tactics and reputation, i would not have.

That's the real shame of this. The vehicle is in the body shop, i'm only 70 days behind, and i'm being treated like a criminal.

I come home to 10+ messages a day on my answering machine, get constant calls at work, and basic rudeness from the so-called "customer service reps" on the phone. Sometimes even after 9pm my time. I had no idea they had phone jockeys on the clock past 11pm their time. Seems illegal. Or at least it should be.

I have repeatedly told them not to call my work, yet they persist daily. I work in one of the busiest pharmacies on the globe, and have no time in my twelve hour shifts for useless threats and inquiries, about a bill that's not that far behind. I owe $24,000 on a car that's blue book $9000, before the wreck. You'd think the obscene interest they're getting from me, would earn a bit of respect right there. But no, the rude, incompetent employees in the collection dept, think constant calls day and night will yield a willing payment.

When you speak with one person, they say they'll put notes in the computer. The next day someone else calls, and says "i'm not showing anything in you're file", and proceeds to spill out the same threatening banter from the previous guy's limited vocabulary. I don't need someone calling me at work and at home, several times a day, just to tell me i can make a payment over the phone. I realize i'm behind. That's the nature of the beast when you're lifestyle demands more money than you make at the moment.

But this is a temporary delinquency. A fact that this pathetic, "sub-prime lender" can't accept. I've gotten behind on loans much larger in my day. All have been paid in full. Never have i been harassed like this on a daily basis. Is this a financial institution, or some kind of collection agency? They get no respect from me, and wont until they stop behaving like maggots.

Hey guys, i know i'm behind. you don't need to drive the point home every thirty minutes. It'll get paid. Charge me the late fees, get off my back, the check is in the mail! Period.
