Wells Fargo Auto Finance is threatening repossession for payments they claim are past due. All because of their addition of a forced placed insurance policy even after several attempts to resolve the matter via fax showing proof through Insurance Declaration and insurance agent's telephone calls to them.

I've asked before and do so again, "Class Action Lawsuit" anyone?

I know there are countless others dealing with the same sort of problem(s) and this company ought to be held accountable and liable for the bad credit they report, over charges in late fees and reposseesion cost and the anxiety they create, etc.

Someone please respond. This company needs to be taught a lesson about ruining people's lives.

There are many more

There are several stories on this website just like yours. I posted a complaint last month. Wells Fargo has done this same nonsense to several customers.

They force this Balboa insurance onto your payment and then when you make your payment they take out a portion for their insurance even though you have provided them with your own insurance info. They strong arm you and back you into a corner. Their customer service reps are very nasty and they transfer you all over the world and still no help. With so many complaints about the same thing we really need to get together and file a lawsuit. This has got to be illegal.

CLASS ACTION- I'm in!!!!!!!!

AUTHOR: Robin - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, May 28, 2007

I posted a comment this morning. They did come and get my vehicle last wednesday. I tried everything. And yes it all started with the Balboa insurance . No one from WF would admit that they were wrong. They continued to overcharge for the insurance and they applied the car payment that we sent wherever. I am at m wits end. They have ruined my credit and my life. I think a class action suit is appropriate. I'm in. They should not be allowed to ruin people's lives with their nonsense. This is unacceptable but what can we do as there are many of the same complaints listed.

Let's Sue the Heck out of Wells Fargo

AUTHOR: Tiffani - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, May 20, 2007

I am having the same problem out of wells fargo. My problem with the force place insurance have been going on since Sept 2006. Bybola have done a flat cancel on my policy and Wells Fargo keep saying they haven't rec the info. Bybola have called Wells Fargo on three way and advise Wells Fargo that they have sent the information. Wells Fargo just keep saying they will make a note on the account. Anyway my waiting period for the 45 days it take for them to credit the acct is up and I don't know anything else to do but to obtain a lawyer so if we can get a class action law suit going against this company lets do so
