Wells Fargo has ads all over the internet offering $200 reward for opening a new Cash Wise VISA credit card and spending $1,000. What they DON'T tell you in the ad is that if you put the $1,000 on the card as soon as you get it, you still must wait 5 MONTHS to get the reward. Considering all the illegal actions against Wells Fargo in recent years, I just hope they stay in business long enough to pay me!

You probably just didn't read what you were signing. Their website quite plainly says it'll take 1-2 billing cycles after the 3 month period set to spend the $1000. So even if you spend the $1000 the first day you get the card, it'll still be 1-2 pay cycles after 3 months.  If you didn't catch this about the card, you might want to really read all the info you got to determine the reality of having the card vs what you think should happen.
