Wells Fargo HOme Mortgage Ripoff ARTISTS!!!! Des MOines, Iowa

After coming to this site, I've discovered that I'm not the only one dealing with scams of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage... I had fallen one house payment behind and began receiving letters from Wells Fargo about Obama's "Home Loan Modification Program."  When I called to inquire about the details, the guy took all my financial information and only explained that I was eligible and my house payments would fall from $536 to $409 for 4 months of a "trial period."  Then they would know if I was eligible for the program.  Everything sounded really good since I was vulnerable and laid-off.. Until I received the paperwork about the program.  It was explaining foreclosure issues and the need for a HUD counselor.. etc.  Panicked about this, I wouldn't sign and return the papers without fully understanding the program.  Every time I would call, I would get the run-around and nobody would fully explain how my $409 was put into and escrow account until the amount exceeded $536 but that I would be charged late fees AND a $30 appraisal fee..and other fees.  When I figured all the details out about the program, I told them that I did NOT want to be part of this program any longer.  They explained that I needed $2218.00 to make my loan current and to get out of the program.  I sent them the entire balance of $2218.00 and they said I was STILL an entire month behind.  After doing MY OWN calculations, I explained that I WAS current and should have a positive of +$118.00.  They have added $800 in attorney fees of some sort and I've requested a detailed printout of WHAT theses fees are and that was OVER a week ago and they have not sent that.  I called on November 29th to make a payment by phone and they refused my payment and said it HAD to be mailed in.  They next day, my house went into foreclosure.  I am a single mother with 2 small children and we have no where to go.  Thanks Obama for your Home Loan Modification program.  Thanks for looking out!
