I have ordered a product from this company with the understanding that they offer a 1 year guarantee on their products. I ordered the product on 10-15-2007 and received it 8 days later on 10-23-2007, therefore my usage of the product started on 10-23-2007. I recently contacted them on 10-18-2008 to ask for a refund per their 1 year guarantee and they said that they would not honor it since it has been more than 1 year since the order date (3 days?).
What they are failing to understand that the guarantee is based on the "usage" of the product and not including the shipping transit time. I am ready to return the product in its original condition and honor any shipping charges but they refused to issue me a RMA.
I am posting this to alert other potential future clients of Wendi.com about their mis-representative and selective interpretation of their guarantee policy in hopes this will not happen to somebody else. I totally feel ripped-off and will never do business with them again.
