We ordered a truck load of birdseye gravel, which is supposed to be no larger than 1/8 of an inch.  The gravel came in wet and was spread out over our arena and when dried it contained buckets and buckets of 1 inch pieces of gravel and larger.

We told them that there was no way our horses could ride on this. We just paid for them to ruin our arena. We then located a rock removal service, which would save us thousands of dollars from having to get rid of all the sand in the arena.

We told West Coast about this and they said they would send a laborer to removed the rocks. Really? One laborer is going to sift through 50 tons (7500 square feet of sand?) Well, of course he only got through 150 feet in 3 hours. At that rate he would be looking at 30 days of work.

Well, the cost of the removal was $500 and they refused to pay any portion of this to remove the rocks that were never supposed to be there in the first place.

Do not buy sand or gravel from this company as they have no quality control and if they make a mistake they make no real effort to fix their blunder.
