Westbury Jeep chrysler Westbury New York

I have a 2006 Grand Cherokee that has 50k miles on it. Rushing out to take my son to the Dr office i get in the car and try to start it but i get nothing. No engine, everything else turns on but i cant start the car. Well, I call Jeep roadside and they say they will take me to Westbury Jeep the dealership where the car came from. They look at the car and come back to me to tell me the car need a new front computer module and will cost almost $800.00. then he goes on to tell me that its not covered under warranty because om over millage. I ask what the computer has to do with millage and he says, "truth is nothing but thats the deal" I call Chrysler to find out what can be done. First off everyone should know that they outsource their customer service so i get Ali Baba who doesn't speak a word of English telling me his name is Dan how could he help me! When i finally get to someone i could understand she tells me she cant get in touch with the service guy at the dealership but will get back to me. 2 days go by and no call back so i call again and she says again, "i cant get in touch with the dealership so ill have to call you back.

Now i get a call from the dealership telling be that i either have to fix the car or get it off the lot. Otherwise they will charge me a storage fee! I call Chrysler one more time and they say that i should pay for it and they will reimburse me when its resolved. Guess what!, i paid for it (don't ask about the garbage they gave me when i went to pick it up...i was there for 3 hours!) and took it home. When i called Crysler back they told me the case was reviewed and they have decided to uphold the dealerships decision. Funniest thing is, i was about to get 2 new Jeeps from the same dealership! WARNING: DONT BUY CARS FROM WESTBURY JEEP...OR CHRYSLER IN GENERAL!
